Crusoe is tended to by Friday's ex-wife after being shot with an arrow. In the next scene when the villagers drive them to face each other there is no sign of a wound or even a scar on his shoulder.
A "No Swimming" sign is clearly visible in the bottom left corner of the screen in the shot of the calm beach in the morning after the storm in which Crusoe and Friday lose their boat and livestock. The same shot shows several palm trees with the trunks painted white, an unnecessary and impossible feat for Crusoe and only done in modern times to keep ants out of the trees.
(at around 34 mins) The camera zooms out over the "uninhabited" island. Clearly visible are over a dozen modern beach-front houses in a row along two beach sections.
When Robinson is building his shelter or tree house, a close-up shot shows a nail being driven into wood. Modern in appearance and shape, the nail looks like a galvanized nail bought at a modern hardware store.
Friday refers to Crusoe by name before Crusoe tells it to him.
At the beginning of the voyage, Crusoe is wearing a wedding ring. He hasn't gotten married yet.
