• Crew or equipment visible: When Nomi leaves the jail and is in her friend's car, they make a right turn and the crew is visible, reflected in the car's rear window.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: When Nomi is playing the slots at the beginning of the film, the camera is reflected in one of the machines.
  
  
• Continuity: When Annie is dropped, she clearly falls on her butt, yet she breaks her knee.
  
  

• Crew or equipment visible: The shadow of the camera passes over Nomi when she is in the alley after storming out of Crystal's dressing room (for the first time)
  
  
• Continuity: When Nomi is arrested in the bar, she is wearing heels. Upon leaving jail, she is wearing what appear to be white bedroom slippers.

• Continuity: Toward the end of the movie, when Nomi visits Cristal in the hospital, she says goodbye and they kiss. In one take Cristal's lipstick is smeared, from another angle it is perfect, and the picture switches between the two takes a few times.
  
  
• Continuity: When Cristal falls down the stairs at the end, she is nearly at the bottom when she is pushed, yet the next shot shows her falling from much nearer the top.
  
  
• Factual errors: The pop up trivia on the Showgirls VIP edition lists the song Nomi lap dances to as being performed by SF Spanish Fly. This song is actually "Deep Kiss" by by Rena Riffel, the woman that plays Penny.
  
  
• Continuity: The hand Nomi uses to put food in her mouth while she tells Al that she was having her period changes from left to right.
  
  
• Plot holes: When Zack confronts Nomi at the end, he says he found out her real name from the police report for her arrest earlier in the movie. However, upon her release from jail, the officer says, "Malone, you're out of here" indicating she gave her name as Nomi Malone to the police.
