- At one point the aggressive antagonist, Cheryl, fantasizes about being in velvet underwear and making out heavily with Kevin, the man she's pursuing. The fantasy shows them rolling around on her bed.
- Cheryl wears an overall top in one scene with nothing underneath, showing the tops of her breasts when she leans over.
- Cheryl dresses in sexy lingerie twice in the film in hopes of seducing Kevin.
- At one point we hear and partly see Kevin and his fiance Beth beginning to make love in his truck; the windows are steamed up and we can hear heavy breathing inside. Kevin then rolls down the window and Beth is sitting on his lap, but they never have sex.

- Cheryl briefly and abruptly visualizes herself shoving Beth's head underwater and trying to drown her.
- When a friend of Beth's pointedly acts suspicious of Cheryl as a criminal, Cheryl carries on a casual conversation with her while picturing herself grabbing a pair of scissors and stabbing her repeatedly; the first time shows thin streams of blood on the woman's hands.
- *SPOILERS* When Cheryl becomes convinced that a friend of Kevin's set her up, she sets out to hurt him. We see him driving a tractor, then the scene cuts to Kevin finding him lying dead on the ground with scrapes and blood on his face.
- Cheryl strangles Beth with a belt in an awful struggle; the movie shows this scene twice. When Kevin later accuses Cheryl of killing her and rebuffs her, she tries unsuccessfully to attack him with a knife. He also briefly takes her by the throat when pushing her to confess.

- The antagonist, Cheryl, is very aggressive in both her passion for Kevin and her hatred of anyone who tries to stop it. We see her threaten to commit suicide on the top of a tower, grab a knife more than once and go after Kevin, and attack or try to attack Beth twice.
