• Revealing mistakes: In the final fight scene, a corpse moves his legs out of the way so that Miguel can pass by.
  
  
• Continuity: The table that Bain picks up and shields himself with when the apartment explodes disappears after the first shot. Also, in later scenes his hands (especially his fingertips) appear uninjured even though they were exposed to the damaging effects of the explosion.
  
  
• Audio/visual unsynchronized: In Elektra's first appearance, she is talking to her cat and blow-drying her hair. Rather, she is holding a blow-dryer near her head. You can hear it, but it is obviously not on, not blowing her hair.
  
  

• Audio/visual unsynchronized: In Rath's email communications, the sound of the keystrokes don't always match up with the words being typed.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: In some of the computer scenes, huge picture files get sent and show up on the screen instantaneously, but in one of the scenes, we hear the sound of a dial-up connection being made.
  
  
• Factual errors: When Elektra is holding the weapon on Wrath in the hotel room you can hear a hammer being pulled back, but the Ruger MK2 is a hammerless semi-auto pistol
  
  
• Miscellaneous: In Miguel's escape scene in the back of the police cruiser, after he breaks the drivers neck, in the next scene you can see the driver driving the car, whereas in the next shot it's the second cop in the passenger seat who has control of the wheel.
  
  
• Continuity: When Electra tells Rath that she switched the disc she holds it up. The floppy disc is open. There is a cut to another angle and the disc is closed.
  
  
• Miscellaneous: The chess move that Bain tells Rath, is actually a weak move as it would have gotten the bishop taken for nothing more than a pawn and a check.
  
  
• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): The four buyers of Electra's floppy disk are supposed to be Dutch but they speak German to each other.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: The two body guards guarding the Mark at the funeral change their position. One is standing on the right from the Mark, whilst in the next shot that same body guard is standing on the left.
  
  
• Plot holes: During the fight scene at Electra's apartment, Electra is escaping and drives past her neighbor a couple of blocks away, who waves at her. As soon as the neighbor gets to her apartment and discovers a hidden camera, she rushes to confront Electra at her home, but she had just seen her driving away and would have known she would not find her there.
  
  
• Anachronisms: During the chase scene through Pioneer Square and under the Viaduct, when the Volvo Stallone has commandeered slams into a dumpster, the airbag deploys. The car was an early model Volvo 240, which didn't have airbags until 1990.
  
  
• Errors in geography: (At 1:13:05-1:16:00) Rath originally gets on the Seattle monorail at Westlake Center terminus, makes the exchange at the Seattle Center terminus and gets back on the monorail. He jumps off on to the track buttress by exiting the right side of the train (in correlation with the train's motion). This means that the train is going in the wrong direction as the buttress is on the left side when traveling from Seattle Center to Westlake Center. Further proof is the exterior shot of the monorail heading toward the Space Needle after it resumes operation.
  
  
• Continuity: The shape of the tree when viewed from the hotel remains the same even when the scene is viewed in flashback. Presumably there would have been some growth over the years.
  
  
• Continuity: Electra parks the Mustang up close to a chain link fence and jumps out, slowing Rath's pursuit. This occurs in bright sunlight. Barely a minute later, Rath returns to the car with Electra's cat, the car and fence are in the shade of a building.
  
  
• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Room service waiter enters while saying "buenas tardes" (good afternoon) but it's nighttime outside.
  
  
• Continuity: In the scene where Miguel is in the tower and setting up to shoot Rath coming out of the bank, with his left hand he pulls a bullet out of a holder that is strapped to his right wrist, yet when he loads the round in the weapon, he loads it into the chamber with his right hand. Him having the bullet holder strapped to his right wrist would be also be an incorrect procedure, as he would have to pull the bullet out with his left hand, then switch the bullet to the right hand to load and close the bolt. This would take up too much time.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: The file names and their sizes, as listed on Elektra's laptop, are as follows1ZX670021208 54.6MB, LEB2M294V.2P1 213MB, U72.145-870Y3 117MB, RW13007NA385 30.1MB, 17Y090X7SRW2 18.9MB, AL3.954BM936 208MB, 4L998-213S29 70.6MB. This is a total of 712.2MB, that is 494.5 times the capacity of a normal 3 1/2" High Density Floppy disk.
  
  
• Errors in geography: When the characters travel to Puerto Rico, during the night before the final events, all the "locals" are celebrating "El Dia de los Muertos" (Day of the Dead.) Puerto Rico does not celebrate this holiday, though most other Latin American countries do.
