Warmoth is out today and, with him, Twitter-Wood's enduring fondness for former "Full House" stars. Nothing against Saget, Stamos and Coulier... but your regular Twitter-Wood contributor is their champion here. He'll be back tomorrow, so have no fear: "Full House" will live on at MTV Movies Blog.
So what's up today on the feed? Well, for starters "The State" veteran David Wain, currently in Sicily, had someone snap a super-cool photo of him. It was enough to edge out Paris Hilton's own photo, of a bunch of fancy cakes that she was sent. Presumably for free. In the world of text-only Tweets, Rainn Wilson dropped some knowledge about Pfizer and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star Amber Benson revealed that she has a special connection with pigeons, especially the anorexic ones. "Twilight" star Peter Facinelli also had a pigeon run-in, while bird-watching for the elusive Twitter Bird. Meanwhile, Idris Elba »

Father Ted actor Frank Kelly has hit back at reports he is battling cancer again, insisting the disease he fought in 2007 has not returned.
British tabloid reports suggested the 70 year old is currently undergoing chemotherapy to treat liver cancer.
Kelly has suffered from the disease in the past and underwent an operation to remove a giant tumour from his bowel in 2007.
He was reportedly given the all-clear after the procedure - but new reports suggest the disease spread to his liver last December.
The actor has downplayed the story, insisting he is fit and well, and adding he is only receiving chemotherapy treatment as a preventative measure.
He tells BBC News, "I want it made clear that I don't have cancer any more. I have had cancer of the bowel and something about the size of a mobile was removed.
"They then found a little spot on my liver and that was subsequently removed. But I don't have cancer; I just have to go for treatment for a period until they give the all-clear.
"I'm still working and just this morning I went for a long swim in the sea and then also a speed walk, which I thoroughly enjoyed. So that's how I am at the moment, feeling quite good if not a little tired after all that." »

Father Ted actor Frank Kelly is battling cancer again - just a year after receiving the all-clear from doctors.
The 70 year old, who played Father Jack Hackett in the hit Irish TV series, underwent an operation to remove a giant tumour from his bowel in 2007.
He appeared to have beat the cancer last spring, but medics discovered that the disease had spread to his liver in December.
Kelly underwent another operation and has since been receiving chemotherapy treatment in a Dublin, Ireland hospital every two weeks for two hours.
He tells Britain's Daily Express newspaper, "It's a b**ody nuisance. Unfortunately, you can't tell God what to do.
"I think the doctors got a major fright when they found it because they had said bye-bye to the bowel cancer. Really, it was just the same cancer had got up to my liver. I was very relieved they found it. They took out about the same dimensions as a mobile phone."
And the star may have to undergo chemotherapy treatment for the rest of his life in a bid to fight the cancer.
Kelly adds, "I asked the doctors, 'When are you taking me off this?' and they said, 'We can't give you a deadline.' I said, 'You mean I could be on it for ever?' and they replied, 'Well, yes.'
"I guess they have to give themselves as much leeway as possible. The chemo is a preventative measure. I don't actually have any tumours anywhere." »

The Minnesota Supreme Court ruled 5-0 today that Al Franken won last year’s Senate election, and it didn’t take long for responses to start popping up in the Twitter-Wood feed, including reactions from Larry King and Graham Linehan. Magician and quick-witted thinker Penn Jillette also brought politics into his tweets, pointing out the relevance of his film “The Aristocrats” in a recent Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals decision.
The conversations weren’t all political though. Rose McGowan showed off a shot a of the new dog she adopted and Demi Moore posted her own puppy shot of Ashton Kutcher rolling around on the set of his new movie “Five Killers.” Meanwhile, “Twilight” actor Peter Facinelli was just innocently trying on a bikini and Russell Brand kept to what he does best, lacing an apology to his neglected Twitter followers with dog-and-leg-humping imagery. I love Ardal O'Hanlon, his performance as Dougal in the sitcom 'Father Ted', is one of the best things about 90's, UK comedy. I love Ewan Bremner, his performance in Trainspotting as the junkie, Spud, is one of the best things about 90's, UK cinema. Why then would both actors agree to star in something that feels like the aborted pilot of the worlds most depressing buddy-comedy?
Myles (O'Hanlon) and Austin (Bremner) are best friends, who agree to work on Ireland's first, and only, famine themed adventure park. It's being run by a crooked businessman, who in turn is being funded by an eccentric, video-art obsessed, middle-aged vamp, who takes every opportunity to flirt with both him, and the two lads. They share a tin hut, in which a lot of the film is set, »

Has the bad economy cramped your vacation plans this summer? Well, today in Twitter-Wood you can feel free to live vicariously through Paris Hilton’s trip to Dubai, Fred Durst’s continuing adventures in Poland, and Diablo Cody’s plans to hit up Dollywood. Did you know that Dollywood was still open? Because I didn’t.
There were plenty of follow-up tweets today, too, picking up where we left off with Tom Felton’s hair-dying for “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows” the collective Twitterverse’s reactions to “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.” Andy Milonakis, meanwhile, get a hat-tip for audio tweet of the day with his personal contribution to the online Perez Hilton/will.i.am conversation. I’m @brianwarmoth, and this is the Twitter-Wood report for June 24, 2009.

MIchael Bay's been posting on his blog about the progress of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and there was good news in there. First, the film's almost finished. Secondly, the Imax cut is going to have extra robot fighting scenes in a slightly longer cut with full Imax picture. Yes, that sound you hear is action fans fainting with sheer delight. For some reason, we're chiefly reminded here of a scene from Father Ted, wherein all the priests fall asleep after goading each other into watching Latin Mass on TV, and then Father Jack turns the channel just in time to see "Jurassic Park - now with extra dinosaurs". In any case, since the principle delight of Transformers is the sight of gigantic robots whaling on each other, we look forward to seeing this on the big, Big screen with considerable pleasure. Let's hope it's more than just a few frames longer. »

Make a note in your calendars – next year’s Oscars has moved back a week, to March 7, 2010.The reason for the move – the ceremony usually takes place on the last Sunday in February – seems to have been because of a scheduling clash with the Winter Olympics, which take place next Feb in snowy Vancouver.Apparently, despite the fact that Winter Olympics are even more boring than that priest with the really boring voice in the Father Ted Christmas special, it somehow is a ratings winner in the States, with millions tuning in to watch riveting sports like the Overweight People Inexplicably Pushing Bits Of Round Stone Down An Icy Rink With Brooms and the 4x400m Snowman Relay. The Winter Olympics airs on NBC. The Oscars airs on ABC. It seems that something had to give, and the Academy Of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences decided to move the ceremony back »
