Up until the release of this game, the main character was referred to by the player's own name. It has long been speculated that the name "Blair" was a contraction of "Bluehair", the moniker that was given to the main character on WC discussion boards. The program code also referred the player as "Bluehair", which became apparent if the game files were examined with a hex editor.
