Some re-releases of the game were packaged with a special "Making-Of" CD-ROM which featured hours of footage from the shooting of the live action scenes. Highlights include co-star Tom Wilson engaging in a mock lightsaber battle with Mark Hamill and several other cast members making fun of Hamill's Star Wars past. During one dramatic scene, Mark Hamill exits the room as scripted and once he's gone, Tom Wilson turns towards the camera and says: "Isn't that the guy from Star Wars?"

How Wing Commander III pulls you in.

I got Wing Commander III from my dad for my birthday. I had never even heard of it, but I saw that Mark Hamill was in it and that got me interested. The cool graphics, the live-action cut scenes, and the entire fun of space simulation soon had me hooked. Afterwards I have purchased Wing Commander IV and Wing Commander Prophecy and hope to get Wing Commander: Secret Ops soon. Overall, this game is very fun and addictive.
