  • Continuity: The glass of milk when Danny is talking to the girl.

  • Continuity: The girl's clothes when The Giants are gathering players.

  • Continuity: The chalkboard behind the guys debating who would win.

  • Continuity: Zolteck's shirt changes from baseball shirt to striped shirt frequently.

  • Continuity: On the Cowboys last offensive play, Spike is clearly tackled well over a yard from the goal line; but, when he gets up the ball is only inches from the line.

  • Factual errors: In football when it is a turnover on downs, the opposing team gets the ball back at the exact location of where the ball ends at the last play. On the Cowboys last possession Spike gets a few inches from the endzone, but when Giants have the ball, they start from the 20-yard line.

  • Revealing mistakes: When Kevin O'Shea's wife and daughters are watching the home video of his tackle gone awry, what they are watching is obviously from the film, complete with different angles and shots of him from outside. His daughter could not have caught it all with the camcorder.

  • Continuity: In practice with the Little Giants, Spike gets tackled in the backfield. The ball jumps out far from him when he falls. The very next shot has him standing up with the ball.

  • Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Jake is going for the final touchdown, he is speaking and so is the Cowboys player chasing after him, but their mouths are not moving.

  • Continuity: At the beginning of the football game the goalposts are at the front of the end zone. Later in the game they are at the back where they usually are in football games.

  • Continuity: When Butz goes to get his car washed the windows in his car are rolled down. When the Giants start spraying water on him, the driver's side window is rolled up.

  • Miscellaneous: When Tad is being dragged down the field by Spike, his shirt is ripped from being pulled. Yet when we see him again his shirt is not ripped at all.

  • Continuity: During the practice when Spike is taken by his father and Kevin O'Shea to be a Cowboy, he yells at the tubby kid in the Darth Vadar helmet who is wearing a white striped shirt. Within seconds he is wearing a blue and red long sleeve shirt.

  • Continuity: When the Little Giants are in their last defensive huddle, you can see the clock in the background at 1:45, yet there are only 10 seconds left in the game.

  • Continuity: During halftime, Hot Hands's shirt does not have the black goo on it he used in the first half. When he returns to the field, the goo is back on.

  • Continuity: When Johnny is sitting on his porch after his dad leaves, the door is alternately open/shut between shots.

  • Continuity: When Hanon is running for the touchdown, Patterson (#22) dives for a tackle and misses. In the next shot no-one is on the ground behind Hanon.

  • Continuity: Hanon sticks his hands to the front of his jersey. As he runs for the ball, it hits him in the back and his hand is visible on the left side of his body, but when he is lying on the ground, his hand is stuck to his jersey again.

  • Audio/visual unsynchronized: During the Cowboys last possession when the film is going in slow motion, you hear the quarterback yell "Down... Go!" When the camera pans to his face, it's obvious that he is mouthing "set", not "go".

  • Factual errors: The clock ticks down from 5 seconds to 4 seconds long after Spike was tackled near the goal line and the whistle blew. There should have been 5 seconds left for the last play.

  • Errors in geography: The movie is set in Ohio, but in numerous scenes, mountains such as those found in California are visible in the background. Ohio does not have any Chaparral-type mountains.

  • Continuity: During the final goal-line stand, a close-up is shown on Rudy Zolteck. Junior is standing next to him. When if shifts to Danny only seconds later, Junior is on the bench.
