Fun Stuff

Trivia:

Jennifer Jason Leigh was instructed to play Amy Archer in the same fast-talking, no-nonsense way as Rosalind Russell did in His Girl Friday (1940). more

Goofs:

Continuity: In the first few minutes of the movie, we see a wide shot of the Hudsucker building from blocks away. However, when Waring Hudsucker jumps, there is clearly another building directly across the street. If that building were there, we could not get such a clear view in the first shot. Not only that, but as Hudsucker is falling, the scene cuts to a secretary sitting by the window, and again, the building across the street is gone. more

Quotes:

Buzz: Say, buddy, who's the most liquid businessman on the street? Waring Hudsucker! more

In my opinion, this is a very underrated movie., 22 August 1998
9/10
Author: Richard Contreras from Highland, CA

I cannot understand why this movie has not earned the respect it deserves. Norville Barnes represents high hopes and bright ideas, and when he starts out his intentions are pure. But when money makes him lose his focus, only love can put him back on the right track. Tim Robbins and Jennifer Jason Leigh are masterful in this movie, which is one of my personal favorites.
