Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this new feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes .

Sex & Nudity

Sex noises coming from a bedroom window, while a child listens.

A couple is shown kissing in bed and there is the suggestion of sex.

A woman is shown in her underwear; she removes her bra and we see her bare back and the side of her right breast as she places a man's hand on her breast. Then the man gets an orgasm.

A nude woman is covered by a guitar only, and we see her in a thong, the side of her bare chest and her bare back.

A man's bottom is shown bandaged.

Several men are seen bare to the waist, and a flash of bare bottoms in the distance (some pubic region shown as a man dries off from being in the shower.)

There are references to a young girl being sexually abused by her father.

Two male friends make out with two female prostitutes, and are in process of sex.

Violence & Gore

A newsreel of George Wallace getting shot, and references to John and Bobby Kennedy being killed.

Young boys throw rocks at another boy and hit him in the head.

There is the insinuation of sexual child abuse.

There are several fist fights which end in bloody noses, and a woman is slapped in the face and knocked down.

War scenes from Vietnam show men being wounded and blown up: a large bloody gut wound, and a leg wound are shown graphically.

A man is shown with no legs.

Profanity

One F-word, several shits, and minor profanity.

Racial slurs and comments are heard throughout the film.

There are a lot of drugs in the movie. Jenny gets involved in the hippie culture, she experiments with all sorts of drugs like LSD and heroin, and she later contracts AIDS.

There is some casual drinking, then some hard drinking by Lt. Dan in the later half of the film.

The battle scene could be considered frightening, as it comes out of nowhere.
