• Errors in geography: When approaching Toronto, the view of the skyline is from Toronto Island, which is not accessible by road.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: During the opening scenes, the camera vehicle is reflected the President's black Town Car limousine.
  
  
• Continuity: Sheriff Boomer sprays French translations onto the side of his truck. In the next shot, the truck has only English.
  
  

• Continuity: When Honey is making the CN Tower out of mashed potatoes, the antenna disappears from the top between shots.
  
  
• Continuity: During the opening suicide attempt, Roy-Boy has a strip of duct tape over his mouth. After climbing over the guardrail at Niagara Falls, the duct tape is gone.
  
  
• Continuity: Just as Honey finishes disabling the Hacker Hellstorm, the camera cuts briefly to a clock that stops at "0:08" after a computer falls over and explodes. The camera cuts to the War room's countdown display, which shows the countdown stopped at "T-0:00.8", 0.72 seconds later than the Hellstorm's clock.
  
  
• Factual errors: The helicopter that brings the Russian president to the White House has U.S. markings on the side, and a Canadian registration number on the belly. U.S. registrations begin with N; Canadian ones begin with C.
  
  
• Errors in geography: At the beginning the motorcade is described as being in Niagara Falls where in fact it drives by Dofasco Steel on Ottawa Street in Hamilton Ontario. As well, the factory shot from across the water is also Hamilton, but this is a shot of Stelco Steel, Dofasco's neighbor.
