Fun Stuff

Trivia:
Director Francis Ford Coppola claims that Bram Stoker's name was included in the title because he has a tradition of putting the author's names in the titles of his movies that are adapted from novels, such as "Mario Puzo's The Godfather" and "John Grisham's The Rainmaker." Others have claimed, however, that Stoker's name was included in the title to avoid legal action from Univeral Studios, who claimed to own the rights to the simple title "Dracula." more
Goofs:
Crew or equipment visible: When Harker arrives at the castle and Vlad's shadow is seen to emerge from the left on the hallway wall, the puppeteer manipulating the puppet casting the shadow can be seen near the end of that effect. NOTE: This error seems to have been fixed for the Special Edition DVD, released in 2007. more

Lush and Sensual, 14 January 2002
10/10
Author: Cheetah-6 from Maui

This one really nails it. Lush, sensual, sexy\gory, beautiful and creepy. With just the right touch of humor to keep it in perspective. Tom Waits as Renfield gone bonkers is great comic relief. Nosferatu of 1922 or Werner Herzog's version of 1979 are also very good but they've got nothing on this one. It stands well with them and is a must for any Vampire story lover. This one pulls of Dracula's story in high style! One of Coppola's Best works.
