The club where Anthony tells Angelo Provolone he met his daughter is called Club 33, which is a real private club hidden in Disneyland. more
Continuity: When Dr Poole (Tim Curry) arrives at the Provolone mansion, Anthony Rossano (Vincent Spano) is just about to leave. He never says a word during this scene, but Dr Poole comments on Anthony's hometown based solely on his accent. This couldn't happen without Anthony actually speaking. more
Father Clemente:
Oh, by the way? Congratulations on your daughter marrying Bruce Underwood.
Sophia:
Oh, I'm afraid there's been a change, Father. She's now marrying a nice Italian boy. Anthony Rosano.
Father Clemente:
It's all for the better. Nothing like a big Italian wedding! Anthony Rosano!
Snaps:
Well, forget Anthony, she's not marrying him any more.
Sophia:
What?
Father Clemente:
Well, that's a shame. But she's young. Someday she'll find the right one.
Snaps:
She's found the right one.
Sophia:
Who?
Snaps:
Doctor Poole!
Sophia:
Doctor Poole?

This got some of the best reviews of any recent Stallone film, and after seeing it, I understand why. It's an absolutely hilarious, wonderful movie that shows one of Sly's best performances, and a great supporting cast. It was a long time before I got around to seeing it, but man, am I glad I did. I haven't laughed this much in a long time. And to those of you who jump on the negative hype bandwagon and make fun of Stallone like a bunch of lemmings, check this one out.
