The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

There quite a few sex scenes involving Jim Morrison with many other women. Full frontal female nudity, and male pubic nudity.

The band goes to a bar with topless waitresses.

Violence & Gore

There is a scene where a woman cuts herself and then cuts Jim Morrison, a fair amount of blood seeps out and then is put into a cup and drank by them.

People fight and argue.

A woman is locked in a closet and it is set on fire.

A deers foot is seen on a stick in one scene.

There is a scene involving dead Indians with blood on their faces and mouths.

Jim Morrison is sprayed with pepper spray. His face turns red.

There are scenes where Jim Morrison talks about killing his father.

Profanity

Quite a bit of use of the words 'fuck' and 'shit' and some others, although it is not pervasive.

There are a lot of scenes depicting drug use such as LSD, cocaine, peyote, and pot.

A lot of discussion about drugs.

In many scenes Jim Morrison is obviously high on drugs or is drunk.

Not many frightening/intense scenes. But the most intense scene would be when Pamela Morrison is locked in a closet and Jim sets it on fire.
