This is one of the most frequently asked questions about the movie. Everyone is quick to notice two different scenes where Sue Ellen calls Kenny a 'punk', yet it appears her original dialogue was 'prick'. There are other scenes where words such as 'bitches', 'shit' and 'slut' were also dubbed over with cleaner derivatives- 'queens', 'Liza...' and 'snot' respectively. The changes were made in order to secure a more family-friendly MPAA rating, and ensured easier editing for TV, as this was jointly an HBO production. However, there will always be confusion among viewers because the word 'f--k' has been left in the film.
