• The movie Charles Cronan is watching in his office is the beginning of the first movie in the series _Cannonball Run (1981)_.
  
  
• In Los Angeles, Valentino uses Lucille Ball's house as a navigational reference. He navigates with a map to the stars' homes. Lucille Ball died less than a week after the movie openned.
