• Continuity: The Myers House is shown as a huge, Gothic mansion, whereas in Halloween (1978) and Halloween II (1981), it is shown as a small, two-story Victorian house.
  
  
• Continuity: The mask that Michael wears is supposed to be the same one that he had on in Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988). Despite this fact, the mask has different facial features and the neck hangs down over the shoulders.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: When Mike is parking his car outside the store where Spitz works, we can see lighting equipment hanging over the car reflected in its shiny surface.
  
  

• Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Michael is chasing Jamie and Billy in the car, Tina yells "Jamie!", but we hear "Billy!" come out of her mouth.

Then, when we cut back to Michael, he is seen taking off the mask that Tina gave him and putting his own back on.

• Revealing mistakes: Although it is supposed to be Halloween it is obvious that it was filmed in the spring/summer because all the trees are in full bloom.
  
  
• Factual errors: In the beginning of the movie, Jamie has a seizure. Almost immediately, paramedics are seen trying to use a bag-valve mask to assist her respiration and a physician is about to inject her throat with something. While this is not impossible, to administer such devices on a patient having a seizure, it is downright dangerous and no medical professional - nurse, physician or paramedic would try such things.
  
  
• Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): No "car guy" would put such skinny ("wimpy") tires on a Camaro.
  
  
• Continuity: When Jamie crawls into the laundry chute door, there is a wooden door immediately to the left of it, less than a foot away. When Michael approaches and opens the laundry chute, the wooden door is still there. However, when Jamie crawls back up the chute and gets out, there is no wooden door. She is an entirely different room from where she started.
  
  
• Continuity: When chasing Jamie and Billy in the car, Michael's position while driving the changes between the driver's seat and the passenger seat. (The DVD commentary revealed this is because the shot was filmed with the car being driven towards a mirror)
  
  
• Continuity: Outside the Quick Food Mart where Spitz works, Mikey, who is wearing round sunglasses, is polishing his black Camero. Tina attempts to surprise him by putting a mask over his head. Annoyed, he pulls the mask off and tosses it into the back seat of his car; he is still wearing his sunglasses. There is a jump cut to a POV on the opposite side of the car. Mikey is no longer wearing his sunglasses. As he sits down into the driver's seat he grabs his sunglasses from the backseat near where he tossed the mask and places them on the dashboard of his car.
