Zendaya isn’t shutting down the idea of potentially reviving her music career eventually.
The Challengers star made a recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, where she was asked about the music she has released in the past.
“I love music, and it’s something that’s been special to me,” Zendaya told host Jennifer Hudson. “I think being in the music industry, maybe it, it didn’t kill the joy of music, but it’s when you put music and business together. Sometimes it cannot feel so good.”
Zendaya released her debut self-titled album in 2013, which featured her hit single “Replay.” And while she has prioritized her acting career over music in recent years, she teased that when the “right timing” presents itself, she may release something again.
“You know, I think if the right timing and it came, because I like creating it for myself, but if there was a moment,...

“The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes,” the new “Hunger Games” prequel film, has acquired an interim agreement from SAG-AFTRA, which will enable its stars to promote the film ahead of its release on November 17.
Hundreds of movies have qualified for the interim agreement from SAG-AFTRA and have agreed to the Guild’s original demands while the strike is still ongoing, including some with major stars and other buzzy awards-hopefuls premiering at film festivals. But with a budget of around $100 million, the “Hunger Games” prequel film is almost certainly one of the biggest films to sign the agreement to date.
“Songbirds and Snakes” is a release from Lionsgate, which is not an AMPTP-affiliated company, despite being a mini-major studio, thus making its theatrical releases eligible. Lionsgate is an independent company; however, this is expected to be the first Lionsgate title to apply for and receive an interim agreement to date.

“I love what I do. I love what I do so, so much.”
So said Zendaya as she received a Star of the Year Award in Las Vegas on Thursday night inside Caesars Palace, host of CinemaCon’s Big Screen Achievement Awards. The starry event closed out the four-day gathering put on by the National Association of Theater Owners, and she dedicated part of her comments to them.
“I’m so grateful for all of you because without all of you, what I do wouldn’t have a home or place to go,” said the 26-year-old star who will give audiences a place to go this year in Denis Villeneuve’s epic sequel Dune: Part Two and Luca Guadagnino’s The Challengers. “I think my gift is storytelling. That’s what I love to do, and it means nothing if those stories don’t get to the people they need to get to.
