• Continuity: In the washroom, the beer bottle on the towel dispenser disappears after the twins shoot their paper at the basket and then reappears in a subsequent shot.
  
  
• Continuity: Location of beer bottle on towel dispensers in bathroom.
  
  
• Incorrectly regarded as goofs: During the course of the film, the amount of money Vince would receive for the merchandise is 5 million dollars, but at the second to last scene, it is referred to as 4 million dollars. That's because Vincent skimmed off a million.
  
  

• Revealing mistakes: Obvious motor on the raft that Julius leaves the island in.
  
  
• Continuity: When at Los Alamos, NM, the same extra (lady in red-striped shirt) passes by at least five times.
  
  
• Continuity: When Julius is driving the Mustang for the first time and Vincent calls Julius on the cell phone to tell him to turn into the grocery store they are clearly on a busy boulevard. When Julius actually makes the turn, however, he is clearly turning off of a residential side street.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: The two extras in the background, in the street after Julius beats up Vincent's creditor are, throughout the scene, staring directly at the camera.
  
  
• Continuity: Julius drives Vincent's car up on the two right tires, then drops down, the car's airbag deploys. When the car falls down the camera was pulled back to a wide view from the front of the vehicle. The airbag was clearly visible for a brief moment. When the camera cuts to a close-up, there is no airbag showing.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: When Julius drives the car on two wheels, you clearly see the ramp that the car drives up to enable the stunt.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: Just after Julius leaves the car park in the car for the first time, you hear the car break/skid heavy, but the break lights were already lit before breaking, which means the car noise was dubbed.
  
  
• Continuity: When Julius drives the car on two wheels, the camera films Julius close up with one hand on the steering wheel and his other hand holding onto the cars front window, but in the long shots, the stunt driver has both hands on wheel.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: When the two babies are laying together in the beginning, there is clearly a hand under the sheet "helping" the baby Vince to kick the baby Julius.
  
  
• Continuity: When the chains fall on the villain at the end the suitcase has moved from being next to him to being a few feet away outside the heap of chains.
  
  
• Errors in geography: The twins were told that their mother was at an artists' colony 200 miles north of Santa Fe. That would have put them in downtown Alamosa, Colo. (36 miles too far north to be in New Mexico).
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: When Arnold throws one of the Clane brothers into the elevator, you can clearly see the cable that pulls him backwards.
  
  
• Audio/visual unsynchronized: In the scene where Julius asks to come with his brother on his trip to Houston, Julius says that where he wants to go is on the way to Houston. After Swarzenneger says this, in the shot from behind him, his lips are still moving. He is saying "on the way to Houston" again.
  
  
• Boom mic visible: Reflected in car window while Vincent talks to Linda before their trip.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: When Vincent is standing in front of Playmates club and pulls the guy off the motorcycle, the cable pulling the guy off the motorcycle is clearly visible.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: After Vince goes to investigate the Cadillac that has crashed, you can see that the car has been put in park, even though the occupants have been killed.
  
  
• Continuity: When Julius lifts the rear of the Cadillac to deactivate the alarm, the T/A on the rear tire is in the 5 O'clock position, when he puts the car back down, it is now in the 3 o'clock position.
