Since this is one of the first anamorphic transfers from Image Entertainment, I was really interested to see how this would turn out. Because there are some very bad Image Entertainment titles out there, it could have been quite bad, but it turned out to be very watchable after all. The resolution is fine, but the image is somewhat grainy. Compared to some really great anamorphic titles from other labels, this DVD shows more aliasing effects than other titles. I guess this transfer was made for NTSC directly and not downconverted from HDTV sources like some of the Columbia/Tristar titles. Like most of the Image Entertainment titles this DVD also does not have any supplements, which is a bit disappointing.
