Pauleen Anderson : I wish - Goodbye, Mel.

[a man comes in the boutique and approaches Pauleen, who was talking to Nora]
Man #2 : [seemingly upset] Where's Mel?
Pauleen Anderson : I'm sorry, Mel's not here.
Man #2 : I can see he's not here. Where in the hell is he?
Pauleen Anderson : He's in L.A. Can I help you?
Man #2 : [angrily shows Pauleen a check she sent out] Yeah, can you unbounce this check?
[scene switches to Mel in prison on the phone with Pauleen]
Mel Erman : The IRS froze my bank account. They won't honor any checks.
[scene switches to Pauleen back at Mel's house fearfully crying]
Pauleen Anderson : What am I going to do? I had to take the phone off the hook and the shop and then everyone started coming in! I will NOT go back there, Mel, those people are vicious!
