A woman breasts are shown quickly before getting chucked out. Very brief.

When John McClane looks down a hall in the hotel a pornographic image is shown briefly on the paper -- nothing too bad though.

The main theme of this movie is that a gang of terrorists are attempting to take over a large corporate building, however one of the employee's husband is an off-duty New York Cop and is attempting to kill the terrorists one-by-one to save the hostages.

Two security guards are shot with bloody results.

A man is shot in the head unexpectedly and blood graphically explodes onto a glass door behind him, covering it. The blood on the door is seen several times throughout the movie.

Two men fight and one ends up with his neck broken with a little blood on his face.

A man is shot in a doorway with bloody results and subsequently two men exchange gunfire. One is shot numerous times through a table with bloody results.

A body is thrown out of a window onto the hood of a car, shattering the windshield with his head. The car is then shot many times with a large machine gun until the car crashes. The driver emerges unhurt with blood in his mouth.

Several SWAT members are shot, but they all survive. Some blood.

It is implied that Ellis snorts cocaine twice during the film. Once he is shown snorting it briefly.

Hans Gruber is an evil terrorist that attempts to seize control of the Nakatomi Building by any means possible. This includes killing anyone and everyone that stands in his way. 13 people are killed in the film, with one nearly mortally wounded.

Some of the violence becomes a bit intense, but the most graphic shot is the first killing, in which a hostage is shot in the head onscreen.
