Jason Aldean first learned to play the guitar by singing Alabama's "Mountain Music." He's been known to cover Guns N' Roses' "Welcome To The Jungle" in concert as well. But lately, Aldean seems to have a thing for singing Neil Diamond as well, although you are likely to hear it only if he ventures into a local bar.
Jason gets a kick out of getting drunk and going to a karaoke bar and singing someone else's song. He won't go to a karaoke bar and sing his own songs, though. Aldean says he likes to get up and sing stuff that he would never sing on stage anywhere else. One of his standards is Diamond's, "Sweet Caroline.
Aldean has done the Eagles' "Seven Bridges Road," Stevie Wonder's "Superstition," and he's even been known to do Otis Redding or Dobie Gray's "Drift Away."
