The Return of the Six-Million-Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman (TV Movie 1987) Poster

Lindsay Wagner: Jaime Sommers

Quotes

  • Michael Austin : So, what are you gonna do about it?

Jaime Sommers : That is none of your business.

Michael Austin : You don't know do ya?

Jaime Sommers : Leave me alone you little brat!

  • Jaime Sommers : [after throwing Steve through a window]  Now look what you made me do!

Steve Austin : Well, at least we know your bionic arm still works.

  • Steve Austin : Well, at least you still have your sense of humor.

Jaime Sommers : I sure hope you had yours when you went through that window yesterday.

  • Michael Austin : Carol.

    [runs off to find Carol]

    Steve Austin : I can't do that.

Jaime Sommers : I can't do that either.

  • Jaime Sommers : Fortress? They look like a bunch of tired mercenaries that ran out of countries to fight in.

  • Jaime Sommers : Hi. I'm Jaime Sommers. I'm your therapist. I'm also an old friend of your father's.

Michael Austin : You just lost 5 points.

Jaime Sommers : So did you.

  • Hired Hand : Get into the car Ms. Summers.

Jaime Sommers : What a lovely invitation. I'm afraid I'm a little late for work.

[He opens his jacket to reveal he has a gun. She leans forward in an attempt to attack him]

Hired Hand : Aah, no bionic tricks or my friend over there will fire at those blind children by the van.

Jaime Sommers : What do you want?

Hired Hand : Well, if I told you it was your body you might get the wrong impression, but that's exactly what I want so get in. Now!

  • Michael Austin : [as Jaime and Michael are walking in the park]  The prisoner in Germany had his cardboard clock. I have my motorcycle. What do you do when you want to shut out the world, Doc?

Jaime Sommers : I run. As a matter of fact, I will race you to the end of the park.

Michael Austin : I'm not sure I can cruise sub-sonic anymore. I'll give you a head start.

Jaime Sommers : Gee, thanks. You're a pal. Bye.

    [Jaime runs off bionically]

  • Jaime Sommers : So, how was your date last night?

Carol : Great! It took til desert for him to figure out I was blind. I'm so bad I asked him what it felt like to be on a real blind date.

Jaime Sommers : Shame on you!

  • Jaime Sommers : [after Michael beats her in a bionic race]  I'm beginning to feel like an obsolete model.

Michael Austin : Why didn't you tell me?

Jaime Sommers : Because it's secret. And it was a long time ago. I was in a skydiving accident and your father made the same life and death decision for me. That's the closeness you feel. That's... that's what binds us together.

  • Martin : Can I tell you a secret? I've never been on a blind date before. You?

Jaime Sommers : [shakes head no]

Martin : And to think your friends thought we might not be compatible.

Jaime Sommers : [puts her hand over her mouth and laughs into a yawn of boredom]

  • Jaime Sommers : [Coming down steps in Steve's charter boat]  Steve.

Steve Austin : Yeah. Here, Jaime. I'm glad you're here. Castillian's found Fortress. They're in an abandoned glass factory. That'll be an overnight trip.

    Jaime Sommers : Steve.

    [Worried voice]

Jaime Sommers : They've taken Michael. They used my friend Carol as a hostage.

Steve Austin : How the Hell?

    Jaime Sommers : Here's how?

    [Showing Steve the legal pad]

Jaime Sommers : John Praiser. That's how they've stayed one step ahead of us this entire time.

[Steve looks at drawing of Praiser]

Jaime Sommers : One of my patients at the clinic identified him.

Steve Austin : They've also got Rudy Wells.

[Steve sets down pad and picks up phone]

Jaime Sommers : Who are you calling? Who can we trust?

Steve Austin : Only Oscar and Castillian. And he's too arrogant to be bought.

  • Oscar Goldman : Jaime was in an accident, Steve. An explosion. Coming out of her concussion, she remembered everything.

Jaime Sommers : Why'd you hide this from me?

[Flashback of Steve and Jaime talking beside tree where they carved their name in it]

Steve Austin : I was afraid that it might bring back your memories. And your pain. Does it?

Jaime Sommers : No, not anymore. I really appreciate everything you've done for me, Steve. And I appreciate, uh, what we must have shared but I don't feel those feelings now. I can't remember what it was like to be in love with you.

    Steve Austin : I understand.

Oscar Goldman : Steve, she now remembers.

  • Oscar Goldman : [laughing as Jaime tells him about her date with Martin]  Well, it seemed like a pretty good idea at the time.

Jaime Sommers : What? Me running into Steve.

Oscar Goldman : Jaime, you're blaming yourself. Not Steve for what went wrong in Budapest.

[Jaime starts to walk around tree]

Oscar Goldman : Steve refused to return to the OSI for the same reason you gave me that day in your apartment, remember. When that National Security Board came to pick you up.

Jaime Sommers : [Interrupting]  Oscar, what is wrong with wanting to have a normal life. to be a normal human being?

Oscar Goldman : I've left you alone. Don't be so defensive.

    Jaime Sommers : Sorry.

Oscar Goldman : I came here to apologize for trying to get you and Steve together. I know what Chris Williams' death mean to you. I wanted to tell Steve everything, but I was under orders not too. Don't blame Steve. He's carrying enough guilt for both of you. If you want to blame someone, try me.

Jaime Sommers : I thought a lot about Steve when I was in the hospital.

    [Walking back around tree]

Jaime Sommers : When the concussion was wearing off, it was, uh,

    [sniffs]

Jaime Sommers : It was like I had walked into a room that was crowded with memories. But they were all just acquaintances. I mean, I knew them, but they were only familiar. And, uh, then someone walked in and opened a blind and there was light. And I could see

    [voice quivering]

Jaime Sommers : all the faces and I could remember. Everything.

    [Crying]

Jaime Sommers : You knew I was going to remember about me and Steve, didn't you?

Oscar Goldman : Yeah. What are you going to do about it?

Jaime Sommers : Try not to throw him through another window. I don't know.

  • Steve Austin : [Steve catches up to Jaime as she tries to walk past him]  Jaime

Jaime Sommers : Oh, Steve. My goodness Hi. How are you.

[Steve remembers Jaime riding a horse and eating pizza with him]

Jaime Sommers : Steve. I really wish I could stay and talk with you. But I can't right now. I'm sorry.

Steve Austin : I know it's been a long time.

Jaime Sommers : Yes, it has been a long time. My date is waiting for me out in the parking lot. I better get to him before he cons the parking kid out of his tip.

    Steve Austin : Jaime.

Jaime Sommers : You know I really thought I knew what I was going to say to you when I saw you again. Now you're here and I'm here and I don't. So, goodbye.

    [Jaime starts to leave]

Steve Austin : [Steve stops Jaime in front of the window]  Hey, wait. Wait. Wait just a minute. Hey Jaime. Give me 5 minutes. There's somebody I want you to meet.

Jaime Sommers : Blonde or brunette?

Steve Austin : Come on. It's not what you think.

Jaime Sommers : It doesn't matter what I think.

Steve Austin : That was never true.

Jaime Sommers : Steve. I just can't deal with you right now. You know. You know you retreated inside yourself. No contacts. No friends. And when somebody needed you, you didn't care.

Steve Austin : What are you talking about?

Jaime Sommers : That's fine, okay. Just stay there. Obviously, you don't need anyone but yourself.

    [Jaime turns to leave]

    Steve Austin : Jaime.

    [Steve grabs her right arm]

Jaime Sommers : Please let go of me!

    Steve Austin : No!

    Jaime Sommers : Let go!

[Jaime pulls her arm away but Steve hangs on and she bionically throws him through the window]

Jaime Sommers : Now look what you made me do.
