• Continuity: The character's electrical cords constantly appear, disappear and change length throughout the entire film.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: When Toaster is putting the last available fuse in the cottage's breaker box, an animation glitch occurs when the fuse clips through the wire he's hanging on.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: At the very end of the film as we see an overhead shot of Chris's car driving down the road, an animation glitch occurs where the car merges back and forth erratically on the left and right lanes.
  
  

• Revealing mistakes: "Available" is misspelled in "Cutting Edge"; in a parody of commercial techniques, a balloon appears that says "NOW AVALIABLE!"
  
  
• Incorrectly regarded as goofs: After Lampy is struck by lightning in order to get power for the appliances' battery, his bulb is broken and the area around the bulb is burnt along with his plug, which disappears after when he obtains a new bulb. The burn marks were actually washed off when the appliances fall into the rapids earlier.
  
  
• Continuity: When the appliances are about to leave, there is a shot of the front door with its knob on the left. When Kirby finally opens it, the knob switches sides.
  
  
• Plot holes: Many times, the various characters demonstrate the need to be plugged in (and actively drawing energy from the power source), while at other times, they seem totally independent (Lampy, for example, can use his light freely, yet it draws down their battery when he is plugged in).
  
  
• Continuity: During the "Worthless" song scene in the scrapyard, the Surfer car's left (driver's side) headlight falls out soon after being picked up by the magnet. When laying upside-down on the conveyor, the missing headlight has switched to the passenger side.
  
  
• Continuity: After the rats bite the picture of the "master" it appears without the bite mark, when the appliances are overlooking the city. Then in the junk yard the bite mark reappears.
