Sex & Nudity

  • A man pretends he's about to punch a teen in the crotch, jokingly. Teen then punches another man in the crotch in a real fight.

Violence & Gore

  • Definitely the most violent film in the trilogy
  • Some usual karate fights, one or two of which get a bit brutal.
  • A man punches through 2 cars side windows; his knuckles are seen bloody. Easily the most bloody part of the movie.

Profanity

  • A couple uses of "hell" and "damn"

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A young guy and girl enter a bar where there's smoking and drinking.
  • Saki is mentioned a few times.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • 10+ Moderate Violence and Scary Scenes. PG.
  • A few of the fight scenes, particularly the opening attack and the final fight scene.
  • The ending in which multiple people are threatened by a typhoon is a bit intense as well. This includes a scene where Miyagi's rival is trapped under a wooden beam and Miyagi is squatting over him with a raised hand. The trapped man is convinced that Miyagi wants to murder him when he is helpless. However, any child will likely know Miyagi would never do that and is merely breaking the beam in two with a single chop to free the trapped man.
  • A girl is held in a choking position with a knife to her throat.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Near the beginning, Kreese takes Lawrence and tries to choke him to death, slapping anyone who tries to intervene. Miyagi uses karate to pull Kreese off and make him punch the windows of people's cars which make his fists bloody. Miyagi then threatens to kill Kreese but then dosen't. This scene is pretty intense.
