Trivia:

Gene Hackman asked his good friend and co-star in Cisco Pike (1972), Kris Kristofferson, a former Airborne Ranger, if he wanted to do a cameo in this film. Kristofferson had to decline because he was on a concert tour.

Goofs:

Continuity: When Gene Hackman's character arrives to pick up the weapons and the police officer tells him that the guns will be confiscated, during two shots we see the truck driving off behind him.

Gene Hackmans' presence makes it worth seeing. Typical guy movie but well worth seeing. Leave the girls at home, rent it, go to your buddys' place & watch it. Even after 16 years it's still a good catch. I watch it every 2 years and still enjoy it.
