Sex & Nudity

  • Offscreen, a boy is found to have been killed by child pornographers. Later, another boy suffers this fate after Monk and Cooms are released on technicalities. Harding and his wife are shown in bed in a darkened bedroom and a man walks into a rooming house with what appears to be a street prostitute.

Violence & Gore

  • Rated R for bloody violence and language, moderate to strong violence with bloodshed, including an opener of a man who kills elderly welfare recipients for their cash, a judge commits suicide, discussions of the child pornographers' violent murders, one child's father tries to attack these defendants when they are released on technicalities (he later commits suicide in jail offscreen with sleeping pills). An assassin shoots criminals who were released on technicalities by using a silencer. A known car thief is chased by police through a parking garage and a detective talks about "blowing the thief's .....head off" Towards the end, Harding tracks Monk and Cooms to an abandoned warehouse that is their PCP lab, get beaten up by them and fights back, blows the lab up, is chased by Monk and Cooms through the warehouse, and falls though a broken floor onto a chute, and the arriving assassin kills Monk and Cooms and then is killed himself by Kotto's character.

Profanity

  • 8 "f" words, including in a background song in one of the targeted criminals' hotel room.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Some drinking, e.g. inside restaurants and in the judge's home, the judge and several officials smoke cigarettes, a reference to marijuana being found in the child-porn defendants' van, a former defendant who is the assassin's first target snorts cocaine just before he is shot and another targeted criminal is drinking tequila when he is shot. Monk and Coom's characters are later found to be running a PCP lab.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The police officers' discovery of the murdered boy, one of which-a father himself-cries and vomits over its disgusting nature.
