• Revealing mistakes: When Rell is being crushed between the walls of the fortress, the walls are obviously made of soft elastic material.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: In the opening scene where Colwyn and Lyssa are near completion of their wedding, she takes the fire from him and holds it in her hand. When the Slayers arrive to invade the castle, she turns away to look and the fire "falls" off of her hand, and you can see it hanging from a string/thread.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: The actor playing the cyclops is clearly "blind" in his prosthetic makeup, as he gropes for the young king's hand when a sighted person would be able to simply shake hands; later he has trouble picking up a stick for the same reason.
  
  

• Revealing mistakes: The widow and her "reflection" of her younger self in the mirror move differently.
  
  
• Continuity: When the "Fire mares" first appear they are shod, but a later close-up of their feet (with fire) shows them unshod.
