Why, start thinking about what’s around the corner, of course!
While there’s less in the way of interesting sci-fi, as 2009 will surely be remembered for, 2010 has plenty of interesting new films in store, as well as some remakes, reboots and sequels. Here’s a list of the 15 most anticipated films of 2010, in order of release, followed by a minefield of movies you might consider avoiding.
The Wolfman (February 12)

Here we present our guide to 2010: the most promising newcomers, how the old guard are staying ahead of the game, plus the latest creative thinking in the arts, technology, politics and culture
1 Pop Ellie Goulding Ellie Goulding's success in 2010 may be preordained by industry insiders, but don't hold that against her. "I'm a country girl – I couldn't be less sceney if I tried," she laughs. Blessed with sirenlike tones and a gift for cleverly skewed pop, the 22-year-old Welsh singer-songwriter (pictured below) has already been named the winner of next year's Critics Choice Brit Award, last year bestowed on Florence + The Machine, and is putting the finishing touches to her debut album, due out in February. Disney has released a new image from next winter’s tentpole mega-blockbuster Tron: Legacy, which, in and of itself, doesn’t call for much celebration – but issued alongside it is a laundry list of writers credited with the story and screenplay, which at this point numbers a whopping Seven. This is rarely a good sign.
Of course, alongside this information is the reassuring mention of Daft Punk providing the score for the film. We’ve seen Joseph Kosinski’s pitch video for this film, and I think we can all agree it’s far more impressive than such a thing has any right to be, so let’s approach the sure-to-be-blitzkrieg marketing campaign for the film with a sense of cautious optimism.
It helps that the original Tron has aged surprisingly well, and that Jeff Bridges is back on board for this sequel. And that Disney’s confident enough

Disney have released a brand new banner for the sequel to 1982 classic, Tron which made household names of Jeff Bridges and was directed by Steven Lisberger. This new movie is set for release this time next year and has a cast which, as well as Bridges contains Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Bruce Boxleitner, James Frain, Beau Garrett and Michael Sheen. This new banner goes along nicely with the first poster and image that HeyUGuys were first to release last week.
The new banner was released to a random selection of fans from the official Tron Facebook FanPage which you can click here to join. (we have a FanPage here too if you’d like to join us). We’ve placed the image below for your viewing pleasure.

Above you will see the new banner for Disney’s upcoming 3D action flick Tron Legacy and like the previous marketing we’ve seen for the film, it looks very, very cool. The banner was originally released to ten lucky Tron Legacy Facebook fans who won the Tron Legacy Facebook contest we told you about last week, but now we all get to enjoy it. My only question about the banner is why did they leave out the word “Legacy”? Hopefully folks looking at this online will understand it’s a sequel and not a 3D remake of the original.
For those just tuning in, here’s the official synopsis:
Tron is a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world that’s unlike anything ever captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), looks into his father’s disappearance

So this doesn't really count as a poster, but it's close enough. Earlier this week, Disney installed a new billboard in Los Angeles (near Santa Monica Blvd and Westwood Blvd) for the upcoming Tron Legacy. The photo of the billboard (above) comes from AICN, where they also say that the photo will change every month from now until this is released next December. I wonder what else will show up? ComingSoon also landed a clean, high quality version of the banner image, which you can see below. This was also the "first photo" that was sent to select Facecbook fans as part of a promo they ran. So anyway, check it out below.
Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), looks into his father's disappearance and is pulled into the digital world of Tron where his father has been living for 25 years.

The original Tron had more than a few fans. This we know for sure. And the new film, Tron Legacy, Disney's CG-amplified sequel to the story that put Jeff Bridges inside the game, looks to have enough cool factor to capture a few more.
Our friends at Coming Soon stumbled upon a brand new promotional image for the film, which reminds us of the neon-glowing chaos that is to come from director Joseph Kosinski and crew. Personally, I couldn't be more excited, as Tron is one my guilty pleasures from my youth. And while I was too young to catch the original on the big screen, I have no doubt that this modern day update will at least show us something neat.
Tron is due in theaters and IMAX 3D on December 17, 2010.

Jeff Bridges is one of Hollywoods most successful actors and is now staring in "Crazy Heart," a story about broken down country singer Bad Blake. The film revolves around Blake's life on the road from sleeping in sleazy motels to playing at beer joints and bowling alleys. While living in the shadows of his young and successful protege played by Colin Farrell, Bad Blake must come to terms with his limitations. But that all changes when he falls harder then usual for Santa Fe journalist Jean Craddock played by Maggie Gyllenhaal. Crazy Heart is based on the novel by Thomas Cobb and features original songs by T Bone Burnett.I had the chance to sit down and talk with Jeff Bridges about his Oscar worthy performance. He spoke to us about playing and singing in the film, about the similarities in the ways both actors and musicians live, working and performing with Colin Farrell,

More visuals from the upcoming Tron Legacy movie have hit the Web, and just like the trailer before them, they're absolutely stunning. Pictured here are hottie Olivia Wilde and Garrett Hudlund caught in a very sultry moment. (Sizzle!) I honestly have no idea what's going on between the pair, but we can assume it's romantic, yes? It's intriguing: Are they about to kiss each other — or punch each other? Maybe both! Either way, a sultry moment. Wilde plays the confidante of Jeff Bridges' character Kevin Flynn, and Hudlund is Bridges' son Sam. The movie poster and whatnot were also
