| Director-approved widescreen transfer produced under the THX program. Rumor says taht due to licensing arrangements only one pressing run could be done and then the title immediately went out of print. During some loud scenes (e.g. chapter 4, 8:16 - 9:04) there are slight distortions, both on the Dolby Digital and the Dolby Prologic soundtrack, some people mentioned that these were already on the original 70 mm 6-track mix. Besides this, this disc has a stunning video transfer and very clean and powerful sound. |
