Molly Bernard and Dan Amboyer play Lauren and Thad/Chad, respectively on Younger. Lauren is not only Kelsey's best friend, but Maggie's lover. As Thad, Dan was Kelsey's fiance, now deceased, and we're waiting to find out what kind of character he'll play in twin, Chad.
After discussing the Atx Festival (Molly notes it celebrates the pure unadulterated love of TV) and discovering what Dan and I had in common (he went to Carnegie Mellon University...I live in Pittsburgh), we barreled into a full on Younger discussion like the pros we are. Enjoy!
You guys have a super hot show and Dan didn't die! The supporting characters on the show are so much fun and have so many wonderful qualities. How much fun do you guys have?
Molly: Oh my gosh. So much fun. The hiatus that we took between Season 2 and Season 3 was really rich for me. I...

Sarah Silverman nails the meaning of “diva,” Misha Collins talks threesomes, Scott Lively says Russian anti-gay violence is actually masc vs. fem gays
Winona Ryder says that she’s sworn to secrecy on the sequel to Beetlejuice, “But it sounds like it might be happening.”
While this has been rumored for a while, this should be treated as a huge spoiler for The Day of the Doctor.
Because everything is bigger in Texas, including bigotry, not only is the Texas National Guard refusing to process ID cards for same-sex spouses of military members, they’re also refusing to process “with dependent” housing allowances for couples, forcing them to travel to federal facilities. This is just spiteful – once the IDs are issued and the couple is registered as married by the United States military, not processing their federal benefits that are already due to them is cruel. I’m not sure...

From the iconic songbook of Johnny Cash comes this unique musical about love and faith, struggle and success, rowdiness and redemption, and home and family. More than two dozen classic hits - including 'I Walk the Line,' 'A Boy Named Sue,' 'Folsom Prison Blues,' and the title tune - performed by a multi-talented cast, paint a musical portrait of The Man in Black that promises to be a foot-stompin', crowd-pleasin' salute to a uniquely American legend Richard Maltby, Jr. created the piece and will also direct The Rep's production. It was originally conceived by William Meade with orchestrations by Steven Bishop and Jeff Lisenby. Malty is re-conceiving his Johnny Cash tribute specifically for a five-member ensemble for The Rep's Stackner Cabaret. Veronica Mars hottie Jason Dohring has landed a job as a teacher on the show I don't understand why I have no interest in, Ringer.
Plus, Broadway veteran Will Chase has joined NBC's Smash, easily my most anticipated new show of the season. His character will have a history with Debra Messing's character.
In a move that's sure to confound Sarah Palin, the Russian government has approved a plan for a public/private partnership to build a tunnel from Siberia to Alaska, more than twice the length of the Chunnel. It doesn't sound like a good idea until you understand the $65 billion project could move 100 million tons of freight via rail each year.
A lot of folks are excited about the period dramas such as Pan Am this fall. But those have to score big audiences to work. The pilot for Pan Am cost $10 million alone. $7.5 million of that...

Today in things that Hollywood is doing, but shouldn't be, Eddie Murphy will be voicing Hong Kong Phooey in a live action/animation film. While it was from a simpler time when we didn't notice these things as much, I caught Hong Kong Phooey the other night on Boomerang and found it quite racist.
Cats on scanners is way weirder than it sounds.
Rosanne Barr is planning a sitcom comeback with Downwardly Mobile, which will mine a lot of the same territory her old show did. I'm not sure though – in the current economy that might hit a little too close to reality to be funny.
If you decide to get into adult gay films and the family doesn't approve, Michael Musto has your back.
Naked and Famous Denim has released a pair of glow-in-the-dark jeans. Currently available at Barneys, which means that you don't want to know what they cost.

Turns out not all "Jersey Shore" cast's hands are tied to a season four contract. Five of them have not agreed on the new terms, which are expected to include a bigger salary, while three of them have signed the paper.
"Snooki, The Situation, JWoww and Pauly D have not finalized their contracts because they can't agree on the amount," an insider told RadarOnline. "As of last week Deena hadn't signed her contract either but Ronnie, Sammi, and Vinny were done."
The situation is quite familiar because it happened before with the second and third season. The cast who were paid a few hundred bucks for an episode in season 1, wanted five digits per episode by second season when the show began to gain huge ratings.
"Last time they had these issues, it was Ronnie, Sammi and Vinny who held out the longest," the source added. "Time is short, everyone...
