The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

Rated R for intense sequences of strong violence and terror, language and sexuality.

A woman and a man go skinny-dipping in a hospital therapy pool (it is strongly suggested that they plan to have sex;) the woman drops the towel that is wrapped around her as she enters the pool and the man and woman begin making out, but are interrupted. As the man steps out of the pool, his bare buttocks are shown.

Violence & Gore

Blue = Mild to moderate violence

Red = Intense/graphic violence

A man attacks a girl, attempting to strangle her, but another man comes into the room and shoots him repeatedly, causing him to fall off of a balcony and land in the yard outside (however, we learn that he is still alive and has escaped.)

A man stabs a girl in the chest with a kitchen knife and then thrusts the knife upward (we see blood splatter on her neck and chin.)

A boy is shown with an injured mouth and holds a bloody napkin over it.

A boy is hit by a car, which slams into another car, causing a huge explosion, which kills the boy (we see his body slowly burning and later see his skeleton in a body bag.)

A man bashes another man over the head with the back of a hammer (this is shown very briefly, but graphically; no blood is evident.)

A man strangles another man to death (we see this from a distance through a window with a blurry glass pattern, so nothing extremely graphic is visible.)

A man repeatedly dunks a woman's head into a hospital therapy pool full of boiling water (we see the flesh on her face peeling off.)

A girl goes into a room and finds a man's corpse in a chair with a hypodermic needle stuck in his eye. The girl then backs away when another man comes behind her and stabs her in the eye with a hypodermic needle as well (no blood is shown.)

A boy finds a woman's bloody corpse attached to an IV tube, which has been used to drain all the blood from her body (we see a lot of blood trickling from the tube into a large puddle on the floor.) The boy then attempts to run out of the room and escape, but slips in the puddle and hits the floor, knocking him unconscious.

A man stabs a girl in the back with a scalpel and uses it to pick her up off the ground (we see her dangling in the air for a moment until he drops her to the ground.) Another girl, having witnessed this, runs down a hospital hallway and down a staircase as the man follows her. The girl then finds another man's corpse hanging from a basement ceiling and climbs up a pipe through a small window, the other man nearly slashing her ankles with his scalpel. The girl falls out of the other side of the window onto a scrap pile and runs to an elevator. Once inside, the man raises his scalpel, but the doors shut before he can attack her. The girl then runs out of the hospital to a parked car and hides inside. Later, the boy who was knocked unconscious arrives, attempting to start the car and escape with the girl, but the car will not start and the boy passes out once again. The girl then falls out of the car and crawls on the ground when the man appears behind another building. The girl runs back to the hospital and bangs on the doors, attracting the attention of a police marshal inside, who lets her in. There, the man outside walks right through the closed glass doors when a third man shoots him repeatedly and he falls to the ground, apparently dead. The police marshal then goes over to his corpse when he suddenly revives, throwing the marshal to the floor, and slits his throat with the scalpel (we see blood on his neck.) The man then chases the girl and the other man down several corridors and they hide in an operating room. The man violently breaks down the door with his hands and goes inside, stabbing the other man in the stomach with the scalpel (blood is shown on its blade.) He then corners the girl, who shoots him in the eyes, blinding him (we see blood running down his face behind his mask) and causing him to wildly slash at the air with the scalpel. The other man revives, turning on an oxygen tank, and the girl does so as well. The girl then runs out of the room as one of the men ignites a cigarette lighter, causing a huge explosion. The girl takes cover behind a wall in the hallway as one of the men, completely set on fire, comes at her, but the flames then consume him and he falls to the ground, dead (it is presumed that the other man is dead as well.)

Profanity

The word "f--k" is used once. Other strong language (e.g. "sh-t," "g-dd-mn," "a--hole") is moderately used, as well as some mild profanities and two instances of sexual references/innuendo.

A man smokes a long cigarette or pipe (it is hard to tell) in one scene.

A man is shown smoking a cigarette.

A woman is shown smoking a cigarette.

There are several terrifying and intense scenes throughout, some of which are even more frightening than the scenes in the first film. All of these scenes are accompanied by suspenseful and eerie music.
