Appeared twice on "Superstation" WTBS in the mid 1980's. The title given was "Tales of the smuggler". Narrated by a welsh lad "Honesty Evans", the survivor of a shipwreck. He was reluctantly taken in by the smuggler "Jack Vincent", played by Oliver Tobias. We find out that Jack is actually a forsaken hero of the British Navy. A series of plot lines center around him to reveal the golden core of this otherwise shady character. Siblings, lovers, friends and foe encircle this anti-hero providing a dramatic and often fun ride to the story conclusion. Main and supporting character development is on a level rarely seen in current TV or Hollywood features these days. Excellent drama that is worthy of release on DVD.
