- Greg Collinson: A city. A city in the middle of the Atlantic ocean?
- Atmir: You will not find it on any map. But you know its name.
- Charles Aitken: Atlantis!
- Atmir: That is Troi, the third city. We can rest there.
- Charles Aitken: The third city?
- Greg Collinson: So what happened to one and two?
- Atmir: They are lost beneath the waters of the outer limits....forever.
- Captain Daniels: What, just to rot?
- Atmir: All things decay. We control many things, but even we cannot make time stand still.
- Charles Aitken: Seven cities to Atlantis? You know, the Greeks always claimed there were nine.
- Atmir: Plato was not always right.
- Charles Aitken: You know about our history?
- Atmir: Far more than you realize.
- [Greg and the others are put into a dungeon]
- Greg Collinson: Some welcome, Atmir!
- Atmir: Do not waste your energy on anger. Soon you will come to think of Atlantis as your only home.
- Atmir: This is the newcomer, Aitken.
- Atmir: Ait-ken. Ait-ken! A superior name!
- Charles Aitken: Thank you. May I inquire after yours?
- Atsil: Astil. I'm Inquisitor for the Counsel of the Elite.
- [the three mutineers awake on the lagoon shore.]
- Jacko: Holy Saint Hilda! Where are we?
- Fenn: Grogan, what's happened to us? Where's the Texas Rose and the others?
- Grogan: Take it easy, kid. We're alive. And that's good enough for now.
- [Jacko spots Greg and the others swimming towards them.]
- Jacko: And we're not the only ones. Hey! Skipper!
- Grogan: Don't get too carried away, Jacko! Daniels might have some idea of what we were up to!
- Jacko: Oh.
- Greg Collinson: Are you sure you've got the right outfit on? We're not goin' to a cricket match, old boy.
- Charles Aitken: It's the gear that's been recommended by the Royal Society. That's a rather knowledgeable group. Not that you've ever heard of it.
- Greg Collinson: Well, I can't be a genius about everything, Charles.
- Captain Daniels: Look, I'm not very happy about this voyage.
- Professor Aitken: So you keep telling me, Captain.
- Captain Daniels: I try to give you some sound advice. You could at least listen.
- Professor Aitken: I hear you perfectly well. You have an irrational dislike of these seas.
- [discussing the diving bell]
- Captain Daniels: Man crammed into that sardine can? Under the sea? How you gonna expect to breathe?
- Greg Collinson: Simple. Pass the coffee. Think of this coffee cup turned upside-down. You plunge the cup into the water, and there's air trapped inside, right?
- Captain Daniels: Yeah, but that bottom's wide open. I mean, that's crazy! Crazy!
- Greg Collinson: Crazy, but it works. Believe me. Would I go down if it didn't? Skipper, I'm tellin' ya, this baby's got an emergency backup system throughout. And besides, I'm no hero.
- [last lines]
- Greg Collinson: That's terrific, Charlie.
- Charles Aitken: I know it sounds trivial, but I really do HATE being called Charlie!
- Greg Collinson: [surprised] What?
- Charles Aitken: [Seeing visions in the Crystal Helmet] The new millennium. Science creating Utopia. *Perfect* society.
- Briggs: There's no escape.
- Greg Collinson: For heaven's sake, man, you've got to at least try. What's the matter with everyone?
- Delphine: Father.
- [Briggs reveals his gills]
- Charles Aitken: Good Lord, they're flying!
- Atsil: Levitation is not so difficult.
- Charles Aitken: But how?
- Atsil: Power of mind. A quality latent in some humans, such as yourself.
- Atsil: Your companions will serve the community of Atlantis. But, they will never be privileged as you are, Ait-ken, to see this city: Chinqua - playground of the Elite.
- Charles Aitken: Oh, Lord.
- Atsil: Are you afraid of beautiful things?
- Charles Aitken: Not quite what I'm used to at home. All these pools, fountains.
- Atsil: Water is like life to us. We do not merely use it, we enjoy it. Because it represents a vital force from our past. Does Chinqua displease you?
- Charles Aitken: No, it's like a dream. It's perfection.
- Greg Collinson: These guardians aren't freaks, they're humans like us; but, the face - you can't see their eyes.
- Charles Aitken: If I'd told Gregory the truth, he'd have laughed at us all the way back to California.
- Professor Aitken: Americans tend to be natural skeptics and certainly we couldn't afford any risks. This expedition is a culmination of our life's work. It could revolutionize mankind's knowledge of it's past.
- Professor Aitken: Reject the graven image! The mask of evil.
- Sandy: The statue, sir?
- Professor Aitken: Dark, awkward gods. Warlords of Atlantis. Charles! Take Care!
- Atraxon: You will know not only what is to be, but, how to achieve it. This power is yours - for the asking.
- Atsil: Dare to walk through time itself. Ait-ken.
- Charles Aitken: I dare. Leave me.
- Atsil: We are a master race. We control. We manipulate. We are the red planet. We do not soil our hands with blood.
- Charles Aitken: They're supposed to be extinct!
- Greg Collinson: So will we, if we don't get outta here.
- Captain Daniels: That looks like a great way to get killed.
- Greg Collinson: We can always stay here and turn into a goldfish.
