Keep in mind that this is a list of many different reasons, both positive and negative, why stealth sections in games are included and what purpose they have. As an additional note, this list doesn’t focus on games that already focus on stealth aspects, but on games that shouldn’t include stealth.

Even those only vaguely familiar with video games probably know names like Super Mario, Grand Theft Auto, and Call of Duty. They’re the franchises that have come to dominate gaming over the last 50 years or so. Some of those franchises are currently being updated almost every year, while the new releases in others have become milestone events that seem to reshape the industry. New franchises come along and others fade away, but the biggest and best video game franchises have been slowly growing for years and, in some cases, decades.
Honestly, it can all be a little difficult to keep up with. For as significant as gaming’s biggest franchises are, they’re also…well, big. Over a long enough period of time, it’s easy to forget when specific games in certain franchises were released and where exactly they fit into the history of those series. You may know the names,...

If there was a list of the most violent games ever, Mortal Kombat and the Grand Theft Auto franchise would surely be on it. Which other games would make it to the list? When it comes to violence in video games, we have a long list.
So, it is unsurprising that one of the first things people look for in games is combat mechanics. How smooth is it? How responsive are the combat controls? These are the questions that keep getting asked in community forums. But what of the amount of violence? Can violence even be quantified?
The Most Violent Video Games Ever
After intense research, speculation, and conversations, we have settled on five games that make up our list of the most violent games ever released.

With every Grand Theft Auto game, there’s a before and an after. The series is a cultural force, even if you limit its catalog to the three classic titles found in Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy — The Definitive Edition. This set redefined what everyone thought was possible with video games, and when the third entry, San Andreas, dropped in 2004, its impact was no different from the titles that came before it. Where GTA III and GTA: Vice City are stories set in single cities, GTA: San Andreas sprawls across an entire state, spinning a yarn just as expansive. There’s an awful lot to see and do in GTA: San Andreas. Surprises are at every turn, and we’ve got a few tips to make your life of crime a little easier.

Almost everyone, including those on the outside of the gaming community, has been made aware of the Grand Theft Auto phenomenon. The series contains some of the best crime games ever developed, with the over-the-top free-roaming experience being kindled by the joy of running NPCs over with a vehicle not even owned by the player. Add a bunch of guns and witty storytelling to this, and the recipe is golden.
However, the wait for GTA 6’s next trailer has been getting on the nerves of many, and gamers are desperate to look forward to the other fun experiences to be had. Especially when these adventures involve crime, an open world, and even timeless memories.
Here are the 5 games you should try out which may just temporarily occupy the void that’s to be filled by GTA 6.

It’s been over a decade since the launch of Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, and it still rules the minds and hearts of countless fans. Joker is the clown prince of crime in the DC universe and Batman’s most deadly rival, but the villain is getting more traction given the character’s recent outing by Joaquin Phoenix. The actor’s endearing performance has shed some new light and added a new layer of depth to the villain.

When Rockstar Games launched the first trailer for GTA 6 last year, people were blown away. The game looked unlike anything they had expected it to look like. It looked too good for its own good; maybe that’s why the developer decided not to announce a release date alongside it. Months after its first reveal, this game still does not have a release window—just a year, 2025.
But fans of the GTA franchise and Rockstar Games are pretty excited. They keep waiting for an announcement or a new trailer for this game to drop at any moment. But to pass the time, they also indulge in some interesting antiques. The best example of this surfaced recently when some people decided to recreate the GTA 6 announcement trailer scene by scene in real life!

It seems like it has been a hot minute since we have had a good hip-hop feud. As the beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake takes the mainstream by storm, it is difficult to not remember feuds of days gone by, ones that defined the entire generation of hip hop that they occurred in.

While the feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar picks up steam, we take a look back at three iconic feuds in hip hop through its history, the sort that is still remembered for their stinging bars and witty writing, or even the story of what started them, and how the artists used their talents to flyte their opponents into obscurity (or tried to).

Take-Two Interactive will be cutting the company’s workforce by 5 percent as part of a broader cost-reduction plan.
The plan, which was approved by the board of directors of the video game publisher Tuesday, also includes eliminating “several projects in development” and “streamlining its organizational structure,” leading to the layoffs. The company expects to bring in $165 million in cost savings.
The company did not name the projects to be eliminated. Take-Two Ineractive had 11,580 full-time employees as of March 2023.
The company will also incur between $160 million to $200 million in total charges in connection with the plan. The plan is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2024.
The company, which acquired mobile game publisher Zynga in 2022, is also home to popular game franchises such as Grand Theft Auto, NBA 2K, WWE 2K and Red Dead.
In late March, the video game publisher struck a definitive agreement with Embracer Group to acquire The Gearbox Entertainment Co.

Video games are more than just merely sources of entertainment. Players have been emotionally attached to video games in ways one could have rarely imagined. And it’s fair enough given the content, elements, characters, lores as well as the experiences that the games offer. This ensures players not only invest their time but also an emotional as well as mental part of themselves.

GTA 6 is set for a 2025 release on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, and there is a flurry of news and controversies surrounding the highly anticipated project from Rockstar Games.
The franchise is notorious for its open-world rich in activities and traffic, as well as traversal options, but there are a few choices out there like the Faggio that players would not mind omitting in the latest entry.
The Faggio is a scooter-style motorcycle that has been a long part of the Grand Theft Auto franchise and fans have had enough of seeing the slow scooter in every game. Apparently, this is untrue; the game continues to aim for a 2025 release with no indication of a Q1 release, and there are no sources or people from Rockstar Games that indicate otherwise.
GTA 6 could easily come in 2025, but delay rumors were not so solid, according to close sources from Rockstar Games GTA 6 false rumors about delays are circulating all over Rockstar Games.

GTA 6 is the most anticipated game of the generation and will most likely be the most advanced and best-looking game of the current generation of gaming, Rockstar Games will utilize the latest version of the advanced game engine, but it will certainly require some heavy-duty maintenance, and work, which could indicate a potential delay.
It has been nearly a decade since Rockstar’s last entry to the Grand Theft Auto franchise, and by the time GTA 6 comes out, it will be seven years since their last game, Red Dead Redemption 2. While the Western was well received, fans are still eager to return to the world of crime in GTA and have waited long enough.

In the past, fans have seen many video game franchises getting adapted into a TV show or movie. These expansions are often ways to capitalize through these franchises and that’s exactly what rapper Eminem tried to do with the Grand Theft Auto video game series. During his prime years, the rapper was reportedly keen on making a movie based on the franchise with director Tony Scott after the release of Grand Theft Auto III.

Kirk Ewing, a popular name in the gaming industry, explained in a podcast how Eminem was ready to invest in this idea in the mid-2000s. However, the co-creator of the GTA series, Sam Houser, rejected the idea. Regardless of how hard Rockstar tries to keep information about GTA 6 under wraps, the title has fallen victim to numerous leaks, even before the developer revealed that it was in the works. Some of these leaks turned out to be true, such as the game having two protagonists and the first trailer being leaked hours before it was meant to be officially shared.
But since it’s the internet and the next Grand Theft Auto is one of the most anticipated games of all time, there’s going to be a lot of false information spread about the Rockstar title, with people trying their best to make these supposed leaks sound as authentic as possible.

GTA 6 will be one of the greatest games of the current generation. Take-Two Interactive, the company that owns Rockstar, counts Grand Theft Auto as one of its key businesses. This giant of the industry made a deal with Embracer Group and just acquired Gearbox Entertainment, the creators of Borderlands, for almost 500 million dollars.
Gearbox confirmed this today through a social media post, expressing their joy at joining the 2K team. Embracer Group also sold more IPs, beginning a plan for restructuring the company.

Embracer has acquired a ton of studios and companies and has been successful in managing almost all of them. Numerous of these studios were permanently closed for bad sales, and others are just being re-sold again because this investor group doesn’t know what to do.

Jack Black has earned the reputation of being the go-to actor whenever a game is being adapted into a Hollywood film production, considering the wide range of adaptations that he has been a part of. Ever since GTA 6’s first trailer took the world by storm, fans have been eagerly waiting to hear more about the game’s details, especially how the development/production of the game has been. In the last few years, endless leaks have suggested that the game’s development cycle has gone through multiple experiments, changes, and so on.
However, based on some new information, it seems that the final stages of development for the game are falling short of expectations for Rockstar Games. Based on these reports, the studio behind the much-awaited Grand Theft Auto sequel is doing its best to bring out the game in time, but the release window might just get pushed to 2026.

Fans Upset About Past Mistakes From Fox That Failed to Highlight One Major Aspect of X-Men’s Cyclops

GTA 6 is probably the most highly anticipated game of all time, the amount of hype it generated is unparalleled. The problem with creating something great is that the masses will expect the same level of quality but dialed up to 11 for the succeeding projects, GTA 5 was an amazing game and to this day is still played by millions. Fans have high hopes for the sequel’s graphic quality but experts suggest that it is unlikely even on a much more powerful console.
Fans need to better gauge their expectations, and not just for the sake of game developers but for themselves. Developers can only do so much and the technology can’t keep up with what fans have in mind. The Grand Theft Auto franchise has always been used as the pin for the technical leaps and achievements they made in each title, which makes it a no-brainer for fans...

The GTA 6 release date has been the crux of intense fan speculation and rumors ever since Rockstar Games stated the game is “well underway” as part of a GTA Online Community Update. But, finally, the rumors might stop for good as one leaker has made the bold claim about the release date of the game. And his track record gives GTA fans little choice but to take him seriously.
The leaker, Nuro, had previously predicted that the reveal trailer for GTA 6 would be released in December which has already come true. And if he is indeed right again, the partners of GTA fans worldwide already have the perfect Valentine’s Day gift to give.
Only downside? Rockstar Games is notorious for its internally high price tags. So, the game is sure to burn a hole through the pockets of the partners.

After years and years of anticipation, rumors, and leaks, GTA 6 is finally coming out next year. Rockstar Games loves a challenge and took it upon itself to make each game better than before, GTA: San Andreas was way ahead of its time regarding realistic features despite being held back by technological limitations, but it didn’t stop the developers from innovating throughout Red Dead Redemption 2.
Realism is Rockstar’s greatest asset whenever they put out a brand new game, their most popular franchise is Grand Theft Auto but managed to explore and create new worlds on the sides. Each of their game has always improved upon what was lacking in the previous title, may it be graphics, physics, or even story, Rockstar treats each game as a lesson. The hair growth and weight system was introduced in previous titles, and fans are hoping for it to return in GTA 6.

While studio-backed crowdpleasers tend to dominate the headlines generated by the SXSW Film & TV Festival (like rowdy opener “Road House” and steamy closer “The Idea of You”), this year’s festival was chock-a-block with smaller offerings that a) delighted audiences and b) are still looking for distributions deals so that the may delight still more audiences. These titles run the gamut: debuts and follow-up features, narrative films and documentaries, comedies and horror joints, bonafide award winners and seemingly instant cult classics, and at least one film that hinges on the possibilities of “Grand Theft Auto.”
And while it’s still early days, given the incredible assortment of films still looking for homes, we can’t help but tout their allure to all interested buyers. These aren’t just the best available films from SXSW, they’re some of the very best of the fest, full stop, and wider audiences deserve to see them,...

As the social and political turmoil of 1960s America spilled into the 1970s, network television executives and producers knew they could no longer ignore the thorny issues being argued over kitchen tables and at work/school. The Vietnam War, the Civil Rights Movement, the Equal Rights Amendment, etc. were driving a wedge between families and neighbors. So when Norman Lear trotted out the unrepentant bigot Archie Bunker on "All in the Family" in 1971, many people in the country felt seen. And while they might not agree on the hot-button topics explored on this show, they could at least laugh through their many disagreements.
There came a point, however (somewhere between President Richard M. Nixon's resignation and the end of the Vietnam War), where television viewers grew weary of all these socially conscious sitcoms. Yes, they were still watching them in huge numbers, but they needed a break from the nonstop tumult of their lives.

Rockstar Games has set the standards for everything a perfect open-world sandbox game needs for it to be a commercial success which is greatly evident in their Grand Theft Auto franchise, most commonly known as GTA, the game series is also used as a timeline for the generational leaps of technology used in their games, but some might say an older title called GTA 4 is still the best.
Legacy titles are always fun to dive back into, and with recent rumors suggesting Rockstar Games’ partnership with a company with the expertise of porting older games to modern consoles, fans may be in for a trip down memory lane with the help of Implicit Conversions. However, this news is not for everyone as there are still fans demanding a remaster of the beloved GTA 4, and it is not among the potential games that are getting ported.

"Grand Theft Auto V" is one of the biggest video games of all time, which in turn paved the way for a huge player base in "Grand Theft Auto Online." For a couple of out-of-work actors, it provided them a space to do the thing they missed the most during the pandemic: acting. While "GTA" is a place to commit crimes in a carefree, digital environment, a couple of guys named Sam and Mark turned it into the most unlikely venue to play host to some of William Shakespeare's work.
"Grand Theft Hamlet" is a new documentary that chronicles Sam and Mark's journey from merely playing "GTA" to hatching a plan to put on a production of "Hamlet" staged entirely in the game. The film recently premiered at SXSW in Austin, Texas, and I am here to tell you that it's unlike any other movie you've ever seen before.

For all of the artistic challenges posed by filming an entire documentary inside a video game, you’d think that it would at least be a lighter logistical lift for filmmakers. There’s no need to acquire permits, haul heavy equipment to remote locations, or wrangle large film crews. But when Sam Crane and Pinny Grylls decided to stage a production of “Hamlet” inside of “Grand Theft Auto Online” during the final months of the Covid-19 pandemic and make a documentary about the experience, they quickly found that making art inside of the game was more complicated than it looks. The biggest challenge? Convincing online strangers playing the famously violent game not to shoot them while they rehearsed and filmed.
“It’s as challenging as it would have been when Shakespeare was putting on a new production at the Globe,” Grylls told IndieWire in a recent conversation. “He didn’t...

For the most recent precedent for Grand Theft Hamlet, you’d probably have to go back nearly 20 years, to a 2006 episode of South Park. Titled “Make Love, Not Warcraft,” it found Cartman marshaling his friends to take on a super-advanced rogue player with a posse of killer crabs who has taken to killing everyone in his path in the Tolkienesque greenfields of Azeroth. This virtual psychopath sends shivers down the spines of the programmers at WoW’s corporate HQ.
After Sam Crane and Pinny Grylls’ documentary debuted earlier this week at SXSW, however, it is only a matter of time before directors see the multitude of possibilities to be mined from the gaming world, not least because the technical advances made in recent years mean that even the most basic console games can blow up to fill a cinema-size screen quite comfortably.

Despite only being released on PlayStation and PC, the unexpected success of Helldivers 2 has kicked off conversations regarding the changing dynamics in the game industry. Most of the Aaa titles that are being developed nowadays require massive budgets that go as high as a couple of hundred millions, and although they usually belong to popular franchises with pre-established fanbases, they struggle to break even.

“To be or not to be” remains the question in “Grand Theft Hamlet,” but it takes on a whole new dimension in Sam Crane and Pinny Grylls’ endearing and provocative chronicle of a production of Shakespeare that takes place entirely in the world of “Grand Theft Auto.” The soul-searching of a tortured prince has resonated for generations, but even those who might not want to bother with Elizabethan-era English these days are allowed to see its relevance in a time of self-curated online identity through the unconventional doc.

Exclusive: Altitude Media Group has boarded a documentary shot entirely inside the Grand Theft Auto video game world.
Grand Theft Hamlet will follow the story of out-of-work theater actors Sam Crane and Mark Oosterveen, who had the idea to stage a full production of Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’ within Grand Theft Auto 5 during the dull days of the third Covid-19 lockdown in the UK three years ago.
Indie studio Altitude has taken worldwide rights after striking a deal for the “hilarious and profoundly moving” film, which Crane and Pinny Grylls wrote and directed. The doc gets its worldwide premiere at SXSW on Sunday (March 10) and will get a European premiere at Cph:dox.
“We are extremely proud and excited to be partnering with Pinny, Sam and the whole team on Grand Theft Hamlet and cannot wait for audiences to experience this singular and masterful piece of machinima filmmaking,” said Altitude Film Sales Managing Director Mike Runagall.

Centering a game review around comparisons to other releases can feel, at best, kind of lazy and, at worst, downright unfair. After all, even when titles do share particular traits, stylistic touchstones or behind-the-scenes talent, they’re often aiming for completely different things.
As a general rule of thumb, unless you are dealing with a blatant rip-off in the vein of The Day Before, it’s usually best to judge each work of art on its own terms. However, this is sometimes easier said than done, as certain games have become so massively influential in their respective arenas — at times codifying entire genres — that they end up being the proverbial elephant in the room whenever you’re evaluating a similar work. Take World of Warcraft, Grand Theft Auto or Dark Souls for instance.

GTA 6 is going to be a massive title. We’re all aware of this. But, just ‘how’ huge are we looking at? Well, according to recent leaks, it looks like the game is going to be as big as 200 Gb. Or, at least just under that number. That’s still a big number, and we totally understand if you’re an Xbox Series S player and shaking right now.
However, given the fact that PS5 and Xbox Series S/X support expandable storage, you won’t have to worry about space being an issue in order to enjoy Rockstar’s next big title. Unless you’re someone who casually shuffles between 5-7 Aaa titles every now and then.
Leaks suggest that GTA 6 will be almost 200 Gb in size The game’s ever-evolving nature can likely increase its size over time.
