Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The main premise of the movie is how the main character D'Hubert fights several duels with his fellow officer Feraud throughout the Napoleonic Wars. The inciting incident for which Feraud challenges D'Hubert is petty but the feud between the two men becomes increasingly bloody. The situation is portrayed as highly distressing for D'Hubert (while Feraud relishes it) but he finds himself unable to refuse the challenges because of peer pressure.
