- There are several topless and nude scenes in the movie involving both young men and women. No genitalia or pubes are shown.
- A young couple make out in the back of a van, kissing and groping. We see them both topless.
- A young couple make out in the back of a car. We see no nudity, but the young man slips his hand inside the young woman's blouse to grope her breast, and she slips a hand down his pants.
- A young man moons a group.
- A young man sneaks into his girlfriend's bedroom at night. They implicitly have sex offscreen. We later see him get out of her bed in his briefs. Only her bare shoulders are shown. It's implied in dialogue that he took her virginity.
- I just watched this movie (04/21/24) on Tubi all of the female nudity was edited out, not sure why, there is female nudity in other versions of the movie.
- A young couple make love in the back of a van. We see them both bare from the waist up. The van rocks suggestively for a minute or so onscreen, then the couple emerge dressed but with their clothes in disarray.
- A group of high school girls undress in a locker room. We see three of them fully bare from the back and several of them at least topless.
- A high school boys' football team is shown nude from the rear in a communal shower.

- One teenager challenges another to "suicide chicken," a game where both drive their cars rapidly toward a cliff edge, the first one to brake losing. One goes over the cliff, his car exploding in a ball of flame. For a minute, we are led to believe that one of the drivers died in the crash.
