Some implied sex; innuendos, women and men in very skimpy dress, crossdressing.A woman's breasts briefly pop out of her bustier twice though this is edited out in some versions. The statues in the laboratory are of naked men ala "David." There is an implied orgy in a swimming pool during the "Floor Show" scene (all you see is the cast kissing and caressing each other under the water).A transsexual character tries to seduce a female and then a male character which leads to a sexual encounter with each of them. He kisses and simulates sexual acts with each of them separately, though these scenes are shown dimmed and through a shadowed screen/curtain. Not very graphic at all. There is a pin-up style picture in a magazine showing a woman topless. This shot is very brief. There is a scene where some statues are fully naked men and women. Also, there is an implied incestual relationship between Magenta and Riffraff. But this is denied by the writer in the DVD commentary.A brief mention to "rock and roll porn."
Some off screen gore as a man is chopped up with a pickax. Some onscreen gore when his body is revealed later. A woman is slapped. Three people are shot with a ray gun but with no blood. A character falls from a high tower into a pool. A character is eaten at a dinner.
One use of the "f-word", one of the songs "Dammit Janet" contains several uses of the titular word
People are seen drinking wine at a dinner, Brad is briefly seen smoking in bed. It is mentioned that Eddie used to do "Junk" (heroine). Riff Raff seems to have a drinking problem and drinks frequently through the movie.
As a parody of bad horror/sci-fi films, everything is played for comic effect, though seeing people being killed may be disturbing to children. The laboratory scenes may also be frightening to children as they contain a mad scientist and a skeleton.
