Sex & Nudity

  • None, although ape breeding and flirting have been written into this story.

Violence & Gore

  • In one scene a man is burned alive (Only Unrated Cut)
  • Caesar is subjected to eletroshock, but fakes his death with MacDonald's help (MacDonald secretly shuts off the power to the electrocution machine). A climatic street riot occurs between apes and the police force, with many killed on both sides.

Profanity

  • 1 use of my god 2 uses of good god 3 uses of hell 6 uses of bastard
  • The word "bastard" is used in anger by Caesar against some human abusers of the apes.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Some humans appear to drink. A nightclub is set up for this, Caesar is originally trained to be a bartender but messes this up on purpose so he can get into the city's communications complex instead. Some of the humans smoke, one of which comments on the cigarettes by saying "Now that I know they won't kill me, I don't enjoy them."

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The "conditioning" treatments of the enslaved apes (eletroshock, flame aversion), Ceasar's "electrocution" and street riot easily make this the most violent of this series' pictures.
