Sex & Nudity

  • Several scenes feature topless and rear female nudity, including a couple of sex scenes, and a scene shot in slow motion where a man and a woman completely naked in a garden run to each other's arms. The woman's breasts and buttocks and the man's buttocks are clearly visible, but their pubic regions are obscured by branches and leaves.
  • Most of the nudity is early in the film and in the distance, rather than center stage.

Violence & Gore

  • A man uses a horse's whip on a couple of women.
  • A woman is poisoned and slowly suffers but manages to grab a knife and stabs another woman to death, before she dies herself. Some blood is shown.
  • A woman is killed and put in a pen where she is eaten by foxes. Intestines are seen being pulled out of the body by one fox.
  • A man is bitten by a snake on his neck. He stumbles around and collapses. Another man drags him into a shallow grave and begins filling in the dirt.
  • Camera cuts away before some of the kills. Could have been gorier than it was.
  • A man hits a woman on the face several times, plus, three men get into a brawl.

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Frequent cigarette smoking and some social drinking.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The only scenes which might be frightening to children would be a scene where a dead body rises from the crypt with a horrible face and walks toward the main character.
  • Another scene which might be shocking is the fox pen scene where foxes tear on and pull out intestines from a dead woman.
