Sex & Nudity

  • Men and women are seen dancing half-naked in a witch's ceremony.
  • Several women have their dresses torn by men to reveal their breasts. In some cases rape is attempted.

  • A witch is bound and flogged as she is moved through town. Then she is placed into stocks.
  • A wolf-dog is shot (offscreen). In the next scene, his head is seen on a spear during a celebration.
  • A witch is bound and hung over a firepit. She is threatened with fiery death unless she confesses the whereabouts of the witch Oona. Screams are heard but no torture is seen.
  • A village girl is bound to a wagon wheel and pressed for information. When she confesses none, she is burned (off-screen). Her screams are heard and afterward only a bunch of clothing remains.
  • A witch's throat is slashed. She bleeds and soon dies.
  • A werewolf like figure claws a woman to death.
