Claire Rousay has spent the past few years building her own adventurous style of electronic collage, calling it “emo ambient.” Sentiment is her self-described pop album, building her late-night diary entries out of synth textures, warped melodies, robot AutoTune vocals, rock guitar weaving in and out of the mix. But it’s a fantastic tour de force. She’s got a brilliant flair for twisted love songs, as in “Head,” where she sings, “Spending half my whole life giving you head/Just in case you need to forgive me one day for something I did.

Saturday Night Live‘s Heidi Gardner said she tried mighty hard not to break character during last weekend’s now-viral Beavis and Butt-Head sketch, but seeing fellow cast member Mikey Day in full Butt-Head mode was just too much.
“They were in costume for the earlier rehearsals on Saturday with their wigs and outfits but not the prosthetics,” Gardner told Vulture about Day and Ryan Gosling, who played Beavis. “The dress rehearsal was when the prosthetics made their debut — the noses and the mouths. I didn’t know about Mikey’s exposed gums and teeth.
“When I looked and saw Mikey in the dress rehearsal, I lost it,” she continued. “I was shocked. I’m thinking about it right now and laughing. I recovered and tried to tell myself in between dress and the live show, ‘you can’t laugh like that again.’”

The sets of different sitcoms can feel like a home away from home for the audiences watching, so it's not hard to imagine just how much the casts of those shows might get attached to them. Sitcoms are frequently about families (either by blood or friendship) and the casts can develop relationships just as potent, making the sets the place of incredible memories. Unfortunately, sets aren't made to last forever and that can lead to some emotional consequences for the cast. Sometimes there are tragedies like the fire that took out the set of the "M*A*S*H" finale, and sometimes it can be something as simple as giving the set a fresh coat of paint that can totally upset the balance of things.

Steve Martin is an actor, writer, producer, and musician, known among the masses for his brilliant comic skills. Considered one of the best in business, he became popular for his absurdist and offbeat comic routines, that made him one of Saturday Night Live‘s favorites, having hosted the sketch comedy show a total of 16 times, only one behind Alec Baldwin, who has the highest number, with 17 hosting stints.
Steve Martin in Only Murders In The Building
Steve Martin recently released a two-part documentary on his life by Oscar-winning filmmaker Morgan Neville. Steve!, the documentary, is a reflection of life instead of being what he thinks it could be about. He is a one-man show – sometimes a two-man routine – but his charisma and hold over the subject is unparalleled.

Law & Order: Organized Crime — Season: 4 — Pictured: Christopher Meloni as Det. Elliot Stabler — (Photo by: Virginia Sherwood/NBC) 2024 NBCUniversal Media, LLC Christopher Meloni’s time as Elliott Stabler dates back to the last millennium, when Law & Order: Svu premiered. He was with the show for its first 12 seasons, took a break, and returned to the Law & Order family three years ago with a new show, Law & Order: Organized Crime. Even after that decade-long break, Meloni made it look easy, stepping back into the role as if he’d never been away. Having spoken to him many times over the years, Meloni’s noted that there may be a minor similarity or two between Stabler and his real-life persona, but he doesn’t think playing the character for all this time has changed him all that much. The next Screambox Original that Bloody Disgusting will be bringing to the table is the pro-wrestling themed horror movie Here for Blood, which will release in theaters, on digital, and streaming exclusively on Screambox just in time for Valentine’s Day, on February 9, 2024.
Heavy metal legend Dee Snider (Strangeland) lends his voice to a decapitated skull in the film, and this exclusive clip gives you a sneak peek at one of Snider’s wackiest roles to date.
Whatever you do… Don’T Feed The Head!
Directed by Daniel Turres, Here for Blood follows a down-on-his-luck wrestler (Shawn Roberts; Albert Wesker in the Resident Evil films) and his girlfriend (Joelle Farrow) who are having a hard time making ends meet. When his girlfriend finds herself overwhelmed by exams, muscle-bound wrestler Tom O’Bannon steps in to cover one of her babysitting gigs.

Wild audition stories are a dime a dozen in Hollywood, but McLean Stevenson's "M*A*S*H" casting is one of the stranger bits of classic sitcom mythology. According to casting director Eddie Foy III (per MeTV), the actor who would go on to play beloved buffoon Colonel Henry Blake for three seasons of the long-running series first earned the part in an especially roundabout way. The casting department didn't simply have Stevenson audition but instead put him in an entirely different TV movie to get him on executive producer Gene Reynolds' radar.
"I remember McLean Stevenson, I got McLean to do [the series]," Foy recalled in an interview with the Archive of American Television. "In fact," he continued, "we snuck him in on a picture called 'Mr. and Mrs. Bo Jo Jones,' where he played an eccentric minister, and we showed it to Gene Reynolds. He said, 'I love the guy.

Nominations for the 2024 BAFTA Film Awards have been unveiled. Scroll down for the full list.
Leading the way this year is Christopher Nolan’s atomic biopic Oppenheimer, which snagged 13 noms, including best film, director, and adapted screenplay. Oppenheimer was one nomination away from equaling All Quiet on the Western Front’s record 2023 haul of 14 noms. Trailing Nolan is Greek filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos, who clocked 11 nominations with his latest black comedy, Poor Things. Lanthimos’ haul also includes best film alongside outstanding british film and adapted screenplay for Tony McNamara.
Chasing the leading two is Martin Scorsese’s Osage epic Killers Of The Flower, which clocked nine nominations. The 3-hour plus pic pops up in best film, supporting actor for Robert DeNiro, and cinematography for Rodrigo Prieto. However, the film didn’t land noms in either best director or best actress (Lily Gladstone), where it had been longlisted and earmarked as a frontrunner.

For my money, the Monkees are way, way more interesting than the Beatles.
According to Andrew Sandoval's thorough and invaluable book "The Monkees: The Day-By-Day Story of the '60s TV Pop Sensation," an ad was put in Variety and the Hollywood Reporter on September 8, 1965, looking for "four insane boys" to be the members of a new pre-fabricated pop band. The band would also star in a TV series -- deliberately meant to evoke Richard Lester's 1964 Beatles film "A Hard Day's Night" -- that would use their real names, but present their lives as a fictional merry-go-round of kooky shenanigans.
The producers zeroed in on former child actor Micky Dolenz, a friend of musician Stephen Stills named Peter Tork, a British, boyish heartthrob named Davy Jones, and heir to the Liquid Paper fortune, Mike Nesmith. Their TV series debuted on September 12, 1966, the week after "Star Trek" debuted, and...

In Irvin Kershner's 1980 sci-fi epic "The Empire Strikes Back," the Rebel hero Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) travels to a distant planet called Dagobah to hone his nascent mental powers with the gnome-like sage Yoda (Frank Oz). During his training, Luke learns about the Force, the godlike spiritual energy that binds the universe together. He learns to better move objects with his mind, and also to see vaguely into the future. Yoda warns Luke that directing one's Force-inspired powers toward violence and selfish desires can lead one toward the Dark Side, a corrupting, demonic facet of the Force that encourages evil.
As a demonstration of the Dark Side, Luke has a vision in a cave. He sees a ghostly imprint of Darth Vader (David Prowse), the fascist warlock who killed one of Luke's old friends. Luke has a slow-motion duel with the masked Vader, and, in a fit of murderous anger,...

Hey, "Big Brother" fans. We're back with another very important update from inside the Big Brother season 25 house. The first part of the 3-part final Hoh (Head Of Household) competition took place very early this morning, November 6, 2023, and we have the results of who won it in this article. As we previously reported, Felicia was finally evicted and sent packing for the jury house in last night's Live, special eviction episode after the Pov winner Jag decided to keep Matt over her. So, that left Jag, Bowie Jane and Matt as our final three houseguests this season. Again, they battled it out in the first part of the 3-part Hoh competition early this morning around 3:53 am pacific standard time, and it was Matt who emerged as the winner. That means Matt will go straight through to the 3rd and final round to wait for the winner of the 2nd round between Jag and Bowie.

Update: Konami has now stated that the original Best Buy production information page was incorrect. The listing has since been updated to remove the line regarding Pyramid Head. No further information has been released as of this time. Our original story has been left unchanged as a reference for this new information.
Recently, the team behind Silent Hill: Ascension (an interactive series based on the Silent Hill franchise) had to shut down the chat feature that was supposed to be an essential part of the entire interactive experience. Why? Well, it turns out that the chat function was being overworked/abused by fans who kept spamming often lurid requests regarding, among other things, the sexual acts they would like Pyramid Head to perform on them.
It was an entirely predictable outcome for a project that seemed to be a terrible idea from the start. Remarkably, though, that arguably isn’t...

Heading into Sunday’s live eviction episode of “Big Brother 25,” the penultimate Head of Household of the season had just been crowned: Bowie Jane. The November 2 episode of “Big Brother 25” will end with either Cirie Fields or Felicia Cannon being eliminated in fifth place. They were both nominated by Head of Household Matt Klotz earlier in the week, and after Matt’s ride-or-die Jag Bains won the Power of Veto, it essentially cemented his two nominations. But who’s going home?
According to Gold Derby’s Week 13 predictions, “Survivor” legend Cirie has leading 1/1 odds to be evicted, followed by Felicia at lower 11/5 odds. Do you agree with your fellow readers’ picks? There’s still time to make your Final 5 predictions before our predictions center closes at 5:00 p.m. Pt tonight.

Fox’s Animal Control is headed to Channel 4 in the UK.
Joel McHale’s series that follows a group of local animal control workers whose lives are complicated by the fact that animals are simple, but humans are not, will air on youth channel E4.
Canada’s CBC, Australia’s Foxtel and New Zealand’s Tvnz have already bought the series from Fox Entertainment Global (Feg), the U.S. network’s international distribution outfit, and it marks the first such deal between Channel 4 and Feg.
In Animal Control, one of Fox’s most prominent originals of the past year that was recently recommissioned, McHale plays Frank, an opinionated, eccentric animal control officer and ex-cop who, after a failed attempt at exposing corruption in his police department, finds himself incarcerating animals and becoming all the more cynical and curmudgeonly. Cirie Fields claims she will ‘never, ever, ever’ return for a ‘Big Brother’ All-Stars season [Watch]
Earlier this week in the “Big Brother 25” house, reality TV legend Cirie Fields — who, we’ll remind you, has played “Survivor” a whopping four times — claimed she’s forever done with “Bb” after her first season wraps up in November. “I think about the people who come back two or three times,” said her housemate Felicia Cannon, referring to former “Big Brother” contestants who return for various All-Stars seasons. Cirie replied matter-of-factly that she’ll “never” return to the house. And in case that wasn’t strong enough, she then added, “I’m never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever … And it’s on tape.”

Here's a project with a behind-the-scenes combo we're not sure many would have guessed. Chris Rock is gearing up to make a Martin Luther King Jr biopic – and he has Steven Spielberg on board as an executive producer. Rock's aiming to adapt Jonathan Eig’s critically acclaimed biography King: A Life, to which Universal has snapped up the rights.
Eig's book has been a big bestseller, and is nominated for the National Book Award. It has been hailed as a definitive biography of the civil rights icon Dr. King, for its use of previously untapped sources that include newly declassified FBI information.
The tome sketches out the courageous man who demanded peaceful protests in the segregationist south, all the while grappling with his own frailties and a federal government that haunted his every step instead of treating him like the hero history shows him to be.
It's certainly a departure...

CBS’s Big Brother Season 25 continues with another exciting eviction soon, and we can’t believe that Jared Fields is out of the competition. We were surprised to see Jared make it as far as he did, considering his tendency to overshare information and rub the other housemates the wrong way. During the season, questions of a possible girlfriend at home also came up. Here’s what Jared said about his ex-girlfriend, “Kenzo,” after his showmance with Blue Kim.
Jared Fields addressed his situation with his now-ex-girlfriend, ‘Kenzo,’ after his ‘Big Brother’ 25 eviction
Cirie and Jared Fields certainly made Big Brother Season 25 interesting. While we were happy to watch Cirie get into the game, she continuously had to watch out for Jared’s missteps along the way. Eventually, we knew half of the mother and son equation would head home. Jared went home first, and fans (us included) still have...

Edgar Wright is the ultimate pop culture omnivore. The British director is one of the most outspoken movie and music fans of his generation, taking every opportunity to hype up his favorite artists in interviews and reference them in his films. He seldom discriminates by genre, expressing equal admiration for highbrow art films and mainstream blockbusters.
That passion for all things entertaining is reflected in Wright’s eclectic filmography, which has seen him pivot from zombie comedies to video game-influenced breakup revenge sagas to car chase musicals without ever missing a beat. That isn’t to say that he doesn’t have a signature style, as his films all feature his famously playful camerawork and trademark sense of humor. But rather than limit himself to one genre — or even a few genres, for that matter — Wright is seemingly determined to apply his filmmaking sensibilities to any and every cinematic niche he finds remotely interesting.
