It's very rare that a movie of this one's standards, actually entertains me in a way that I take for granted in movies like these. Like, I actually appreciated it a lot more than I would normally in these very cheesy, low budget movies. And again very few will actually make me FULLY appreciate it for what it is. I'm proud to say that "The Undertaker And His Pals" is one of those movies. You know I put this is honestly not knowing what to expect, I didn't know whether I was going to be in for a very laughable, and crappy movie, or a just plain bad movie. After the first scene I was feeling weird, like I had that "I'm supposed to hate that, but I didn't" feeling. With this and the following scene I honestly knew I was in for a very fun movie. When this movie went off, I was just left shocked, this movie wasn't bad at all. Cheesy and mediocre maybe, but it gave me that satisfaction I was looking for. The things that I love and appreciate the most about the film is how strangely enough it pulls off that multi-genre into one film aspect very well. With that said the dull acting at times, didn't bring this movie down at all, if anything it made it more enjoyable. I just fully appreciate how it pulls off the Splatter/Slasher/Mystery/Detective/Pulp/Crime/Murderer/and Comedy aspect it a very different yet fun and original way. I mean yeah it may have been a little over written at times, but that doesn't mean it doesn't provide us with a satisfaction of whatever. I especially love the comedy. I've said it before not many horror films can balance this with out seeming self centered, or desperate for people to like it. This movie in my POV isn't like that all, and definitely makes it more enjoyable. Overall "The Undertaker And His Pals" is definitely my newest guilty pleasure, and I recommend it to anybody, even if you just look at it as a crappy film only good for a laugh so be it. However I just think this movie is so much more. I just loved this movie!
