Diana holds the crucifix out towards Dracula twice in successive camera shots from the back whilst front shots don't show her holding it at all.
When the carriage pulls away from the woodcutter's shed, the passengers' luggage has been loaded to an exterior luggage rack in the rear. It is missing in all subsequent wide shots and also when the carriage arrives at the castle.
This story takes place ten years after the end of "Horror Of Dracula". It is supposedly the same castle that all the natives fear, yet the castle looks completely different on the outside as well as the inside.
After the tourists enter the castle, the coach drives away and the gate shuts. Charles runs towards it whilst the others stand in the foreground, to his left. When he walks back, the camera cuts to a slightly different angle. Diana, Helen, and Alan are now standing further to the right.
At the beginning of the film, the dead girl being carried in the funeral procession is breathing heavily.
Two monks lead Ludwig back to his room in the monastery. One of them accidentally calls him Heinrich by mistake: "come along now, Heinrich."
When Klove hoists Alan over the sarcophagus, after killing him, in the shots of him turning the winch, the rope is not moving.
After Alan's throat is slit, in the long shots, you can hear blood falling on the ashes, but can't see it.
The water in the moat of Dracula's castle is frozen and has a thin layer of ice, but this would be impossible during the season that is clearly shown in the film, late spring: this is revealed by the deciduous trees in the forest, which are full of green leaves, the characters are dressed according to that season and without signs of snow or low temperatures around (they do not give off mist from the mouth even on the open late at night).
A jet aircraft trail can be glimpsed in the sky during the climax.
The hair styles of Helen and Diana are fashions of the 1960s, not of the late 19th century.
When Charles and the Priest visit Ludwig in his room, the door has modern bolts on the outside.
At the end of the opening scene, Dracula's ashes are seen blown away by the wind. Yet later in the movie, Klove has a pot containing them which he dumps into Dracula's coffin.
Early on, the horses pulling carts and carriages to and from his castle are under Dracula's control, and he is able to over-ride any instructions by riders about where to go. Yet later 2 of the tourists are somehow able to flee in one without being recalled and Dracula is powerless to stop them. It can't be because Dracula knows they have crosses to protect themselves if brought back, because he pursues them instead.
