Adapted from a stage play, this is the last of Jean Boyer's films, and certainly not the best of the batch. The same for Fernandel. I think this was not for him. From time to time, his way of acting reminds me Louis De Funès instead. I find this very weird. Vaudeville style kind comedy, not very funny, except a few sequences. A Young married woman is worried about his husband, a head executive who seems to have some psychological problems, especially with women. So, from this, all opportunities are worth to give the audiences schemes and situations worst than the others. Maybe effective on stage, but boring on the big screen. But it's not totally a waste, don't exaggerate. Simply not the best of Fernandel. Period.

The last film directed by Jean Boyer. Forbidden under the age of 16 when was running on the big screens in Romania. I was too small, I could not see it then. I saw it in September 2018 on You-tube. Nothing dangerous in it, no reason to be forbidden under 16. Not even funny, at least, I did not laugh at all. Sandra Milo, I like her in Fellini's movies. Because I like Fellini's movies. They are simply the best. This one is just a waste of time.
