Also known as "Wonderful to be Young" this is a delightful musical., 29 June 2003

It was the first of three widescreen musicals Cliff and his backing group, The Shadows made in the early 60's. The other two were, "Summer Holiday" and "Wonderful Life" and all were filmed in Cinemascope, the most favored process of its type in that era.Carole Grey, the female lead was born in Bulawayo, Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and has a neat dance-production number with, "Just Dance" To me it was very reminiscent of the Bob Fosse "Steam Heat" number which Carole Haney did in "Pajama Game" Check it out! The Shads perform their #1 International hit, "The Savage" and a good time is had by all. Enjoy!
