Final theatrical film of actresses Cecilia Parker, Sara Haden and Fay Holden.

This attempt to revive the once popular Andy Hardy franchise, featuring most of the original cast from those films (and several flashbacks to scenes from 1940s Hardy movies) did not prove to be successful. Although "Andy Hardy Comes Home" ends withe the title "to be continued," no further Hardy movies were ever produced.
