The Columbia film, Pickup Alley, opened in Chicago on Wednesday, July 31, 1957, at the Roosevelt theatre (State nr Washington); an ad reads: "Intrigue! Adventure! In the World's most Dangerous Pickup Alleys . . . she looks like an angel . . . does the work of the devil! . . . Victor Mature, Anita Ekberg, Trevor Howard, A Warwick Production, A Columbia Picture, Cinemascope." The film was actually the top-half of a double-bill; the bottom-half featured the Columbia film, The Burglar.
