There are a two instances of very mild profanity and two mild insults.

Captain Ambrose uses the term "ugly old hooker" in reference to his pier. This is the nautical term and not the derogatory term.

There is tobacco smoking throughout, mostly by extras. Captain Ambrose smokes a pipe.

There is drinking throughout. Both Captain Ambrose and a passenger get drunk twice and Mrs. Barrington once. In the final scene nearly everyone is drunk.
