After getting a face full of the yellow condiment, Wilbert tells Al, "Now you know why I don't like mustard," a reference to Abbott & Costello's "Mustard" routine seen in One Night in the Tropics (1940).
Of all Abbott & Costello films produced by Universal, this has the most musical numbers performed by the same person. Dorothy Shay performs no less than five songs which is rare in that most performers in A&C films perform an average of two to three songs per film. The performers that come close are Ginny Simms in Hit the Ice (1943) and Allan Jones in One Night in the Tropics (1940) who each perform four songs in their respective films.
Final film of Jane Lee.
